The treatment of Dorothea Arnault in FE3H really breaks me because they have a woman say she doesn't actually care for men and felt pressured to do so in the Japanese dialogue of an A support with another woman only to give her mostly endings with men and let the localization make it seem like she's comfortably and openly bisexual and not at all forcing herself to date men for survival. Even though she only ever goes on dates with men.

Here's two separate translations of the same exact dialogue. I don't think it's that wild of people to take a look at this and go "wow maybe she shouldn't be forced to date or marry men".

The thing Digimon Adventure had over modern isekais is that modern isekais are relatively comfy. Like. When Truck-kun takes you, you can be reasonably sure you'll land in a place where a familiar kind of civilization exists, and where everything will be explained to you pretty quickly.

Digimon Adventure was basically "My Second Life Reincarnated into a Murder World That Explains Nothing and Wants Me Fucking Dead. Now I shit in a bush and need to figure out if berries off of the angry smashing tree are edible. Join me on my quest to find someplace reasonably safe to sleep for the night."

Digimon adventure was part of the turn of the century isekai, it's not a power fantasy, it's a coming of age story that involves an unfamiliar world and the expectations of your place in it. At some point the protagonists get to go home, but choose to return to that world to do what they think is right, often bringing a piece of that world back with them. Compare to Inuyasha.

Modern isekai meanwhile is generally a rejection of personal growth, treating the self-insert generic everyman protagonist as if they're perfect in every way and just need to be able to prove it. Their epic gaming skills and basic damn logic (which usually isn't actually that smart irl) give them the tools to succeed, alongside some legendary artifact or magical talent that marks them as superior.

Digimon adventure is about growing up, while shows like Reincarnated as a Slime are about refusing to.
