I feel like I’m absolutely the worst person to ask this because I really don’t know what I’m doing (don’t be like me and actually study photos and all 💀) but I wrote down some ‘tips’ on a recent drawing for what I’m doing during the process that embellish my drawing overall if this makes sense

For my process it goes like this : Sketch/lineart > flat colors and details (blush etc.) > layer on top of lineart and draw/render > other layers on top again for finishing touches/corrections

Other clearer examples of the ‘little strokes’ of color i’m doing on top of my art… They are more visible here. Hope this can help you a bit !!

Like... I get that it's hard to see in the DLC because of the lighting, and because he probably does not get enough sun. But damit Jim, that blond nerd is still full of spots!
