Why are people having so much issue with the article, I agreed with it? The title isn’t the most eloquent thing ever but the article wasn’t encouraging cheating, where you go behind your partners back, but instead looking at the issue of cheating as a not black-and-white thing where there’s one horribly evil person who just wanted to have fun/get laid with one traumatized-for-life victim. Instead, like most- nah, let me say with ANYTHING in real life beyond fiction, the article sees the grays in cheating and why the person cheated in the first place. Not to say that cheating isn’t a horrible thing to do, but I feel like people need to understand that there are reasons people do the things they do. People who cheat are human beings. They could feel horrible about it, they could be trapped in a marriage or relationship that they don’t feel they can escape, they can feel insecure and unloved. Again, not to say it’s something you should ever do, but dehumanizing someone over a mistake is just as bad in my opinion. There’s nowhere where they can talk about their experiences, and it’s likely we know a lot of people who have cheated in our lives even if they haven’t (or were too scared) to tell us about it.
“dehumanizing someone over a mistake”
If you cheat, you’re trash. No if and or buts. I’m looking at all y'all, I’m lookin in the mirror, I’m lookin down the street, everydamn body. If you cheat, you’re trash.

completely forgot i had this blog lmfao
What do you like about Sarah? I loved Sarah because of the useful things she did do (even if it was a little) and the potential that she could of had as a 15 year old girl with anxiety/autism. I also hated how she was treated by the fans and Telltale themselves when other characters who did the exact same things (like Kenny) were coddled for it. Her and Clementine could of made a good team and be there for each other. I'm still bitter about all this to this day.
You ain’t the only one bitter about Sarah’s treatment.
The thing is, I love Sarah simply because she’s compassionate. I love Sarita for it, I love Walter and Matthew for it, and I love Omid for it. In the world that she lives in, it’s incredibly easy to become a hardened survivor that looks out only for #1, simply because you have better odds of survival if you don’t have connections that can cloud your judgement. Problem with that is, surviving isn’t the same as living. What’s the point of living if you’re alone and miserable all the time?
Sarah helps no matter the person. She only knew Clementine for five minutes and says that she’ll help her get the peroxide that she needs, and while she does have to take some coaxing if you don’t want to be friends with her off the bat, the fact that she does it no matter what sets her apart from the others in her group, who were pretty much willing to leave Clem in the shed without much. Hell, Alvin can not help Clem if you fuck up the segment where you’re trying to convince him. Even after she’s put back in the community she ran away from, she still checks that Clementine slept alright, and doesn’t hold any bad feelings for anyone even when her own father is forced to slap her.
“Even when I’m really mad, I still don’t want to hurt anyone.”
That’s why I love Sarah. Even when she wronged, even when she’s assaulted, talked down on, abandoned, even when people try to convince her friends to leave her to the walkers right in front of her, she doesn’t hold any hard feelings towards them. If Clementine takes the time to be her friend, Sarah returns that kindness by sticking up for Clem and making sure that Clem knows she has a friend in this world. She sticks up for Clem, whether it’s when Clementine takes the blame for the photo and take the anger of Carlos, which is Sarah’s fear as she doesn’t want her dad to be disappointed in her, or even when Carver slaps Clementine to the ground for answering back. This is the man that shot Walter and potentially Alvin just hours before, tortured Carlos by breaking his fingers, and even holds Clementine or Sarita hostage by pointing a gun to their head.
She was a brave girl, even though she wasn’t taught how to survive by her overprotective father and that’s not her fault. Honestly, Sarah was the victim of Telltale pushing the bullshit narrative that “liabilities have to go for the group to survive”, while ignoring that Kenny, AJ and even Clementine herself are just as much liabilities because AJ is literally a newborn infant, Clementine is an 11 year old girl with not much strength or ability to contribute to the group, and Kenny’s hot-headed and aggressive personality pushes the group away from him, and puts them in situations that leave them worse off.
