Would you guys happen to be getting a copy or two of the text or (preferably) audiobook versions of "Blood from the Marrow" by J.J. Arias so they can be accessed through Libby?
Since I know funding is part of the equation, how much would that cost you guys? (If there is any way to help, I would love to contribute some more so everyone else can also have access)

Blood from the Marrow is in our wishlist, and lots of people want to read it! so hopefully sooner rather than later.
the tricky thing is that with ebook/audiobook licensing, we want to get a copy we can keep forever but then sometimes with some books we also have an option to buy say 100 copies that can be read all at once instead of one at a time but when theyβre gone theyβre gone. With this title, we have both! Which is great, but also means we want to buy one of each license so the holds donβt go absolutely crazy from the first day we have it. In this case that means weβll be spending about $150 for those two licenses for this one book.*
some books are even more expensive (alas alas), so weβve got to walk a line every month between affordability, interest, & growing the collection
Thank you so much for offering to contribute! while any & all donations (especially reoccurring ones) are super helpful, they all go into a general pot. We only accept donations earmarked for specific titles in specific circumstances - meeting a goal in our pride fundraiser for example, or author donations.
Our mod Alex asked the sweet folks at QLL about a specific book and got back some interesting info about licensing technicalities for audiobooks.

For those who are able to give, this project is absolutely vital-- especially for folks in the US and around the world fighting the surging book bans. Access to knowledge and information is vital to the rights and freedoms we are constantly fighting for.
