Sensory issues and touch sensitivity

I’ve learned throughout the years that apparently certain fabrics or sounds make my brain want to shrivel up and die!!!!

And others that make me ridiculously happy and want to dance on a rain cloud!!!!

Things that make me want to jump off a cliff or rip off my skin

SOGGY FOOD!!!!!!! When it’s in the sink and I touch it it makes me frail and spazz like a crazy person

Getting a couple of drops of water especially rain water on my arms!!! It makes my skin so itchy and painful????

Extremely dry towels??? I’m not even sure why but that make me so nauseous

Smoothies!!! Way too many flavours in one drink!!! Especially the texture of smoothies make me wanna just curl up and cry

If I’m eating something smooth and there’s an unexpected crunch?? That’s it my brain will dry and I’ll vomit

Black pepper corn???? I can’t bite down on it and the flavour fills my mouth!! It’s way too much for my brain to handle!!!

Foods with a mushy texture but no taste??? Like avocado! I hate avocado so unbelievably much

Getting out of a pool or shower and being soggy???? Idk how else to describe it!!!

Things I love that give me a ton of happiness

Super fluffy pom poms!!!! I have at least ten of them!!!!!! They’re ridiculously soft

Music with a ton of bass or a bass drop!!!! It makes me really happy and dance around a lot!!!

Sweaters with oversized sleeves so if I get super excited I can flap them around !!!!

Rubber pencil grips???? I can chew on them without them breaking and it helps with concentration

Mini ketchup packets like from fast food places!! They’re fun to squish around like a stress toy

Schedules! I enjoy having them so I know what’s going on throughout the day and am never confused or overwhelmed

Results from happy things or overstimulation

Nauseous to the point of dry heaving if I touch something nasty

Violent hand shaking if I touched it with that hand

Spazzing!!!! It’s what I call jumping and flailing around to get the nasty thing AWAY FROM ME

Scratching at my skin, especially my chest when I get overwhelmed!!!

Exhaustion, like to the point where I can barely keep my eyes open if I’m too bored

Pulling or playing with my hair constantly, like to the point where it hurts

Jumping around with uncontrollable squealing and giggling

Snapping fingers a lot, but lightly so it doesn’t hurt my fingers

Hearing a good song and walking really fast to the beat of it around the house

Getting too excited and accidentally smacking the person closest to me (sorry family lol)

Talking significantly louder and faster

Zoning out during a song or tv show and having to rewind it to actually attempt to watch it again!!!

Hearing a song and LOVING it! So you listen to it over and over repeat until you get sick of it

Obsessive habits???? Ones I cannot break for the life of me!! Like playing with my hair or snapping my fingers when stressed

I cannot wear ‘day clothes’ or clothes you wear outside, in bed!!! It makes me feel really gross and idk why?!!

I have an organization system! It makes complete sense to me but it looks messy to everyone else

My concept of time is so awful! It could be 9:45 but my brain goes ‘it’s 10! So almost 12!’

If I have an appointment at 12, I cannot do anything productive until that is done! My brain shuts down and I cannot even move sometimes

I cannot remember faces well and cannot for the LIFE OF ME put names to faces!!! I feel awful for it!!!

OBJECT PERMANENCE!!!!! Out of sight…out of mind!!!!!!!

I’m not cold but I get random shivers or jerks throughout the day?????

Severe attachments to whatever I find which results in collecting everything???

Eating food is a nuisance to me????? Like I’m busy doing so many other things!!! Eating takes so so longggg!!!!!

Extreme mental exhaustion!! If I’m severely bored, there are times where I cannot stay awake! My eyes will be closing on their own while I’m still standing!!!!!

Does anybody else do or have these???

Zoning out hard enough that you repeat sounds you hear? Like you hear a car engine and literally say “Brrrrrrrrooooom” (I’m literally the worst for this!)

The constant need for music to be playing, or at least have headphones on my head to have the option to listen to it

Random spurts of energy that result in walking quickly around the house or clean your entire room at three in the morning

Can’t keep routines for the life of you, it’s either already implanted in your daily life or will never happen again (attempting meditation in the morning or working out)

Getting too excited and stimming by clapping a lot or slapping somebody, normally a sibling. Usually paired with squealing or laughing very very loudly

Somebody saying to ‘be quiet’ and feeling like you’re the worst person to ever exist then shutting up for the rest of the evening

Being completely overwhelmed and your brain completely shutting down, sending you to your happy place to actively avoid the problem you need to solve

Either not being hungry all day or starving because you’re hyper focusing on the fact you haven’t eaten in hours

Migraines from not drinking enough water then chugging too much when you remember

Hobbies involving hyper focusing and purchasing hundreds of dollars worth of stuff for it, just to get bored and let the stuff sit in the back of your closet

NAMES AND FACES! Being awful at matching names and faces then feeling completely awful about it when you forget their name!!!

Netflix: We’ve taken the time to actually make the characters as close to the books as possible!!

Fandom: THERE’S A GOAT?!? LOOK AT THE GOAT!!!!!!

Netflix: uh-yeah, I guess there is. Look! We also kept the plot very close to the actual novel!! And we used dialogue from the novel for the script!!!

Fandom: HIS NAME IS MILO!!! THE GOAT’S NAME IS MILO!!!! JESPER IS CUDDLING THE GOAT!!!!

Netflix: The goat isn’t even in half the show!!! It’s not even a main character- IS THAT A GOAT SHRINE????

Fandom: ALL HAIL SANKT MILO!!!!

This is kind of a part 2 of my theory of the new dark side!! Made with @chonkypastorboi and this will be a slightly long post!

Okay! So the theory of there being another dark side has been going around for a while, but after the newest episode of Sander Sides I found some evidence!

First! What made me and @chonkypastorboi make this theory, was the thumbnail of the newest episode.... 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

As you can see, there’s an empty slot in the character selection 👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻

the top three are obviously the light sides, so it makes sense that the bottom four are the dark sides, and one of them is empty

In the episode, “ACCEPTING ANXIETY, Part 2/2: can anxiety be good” Roman mentions the dark sides for the first time, when he says....

11:15- “yeah, and you are nothing compared to the others”

Bringing up that there are numerous dark sides, which could mean there are more than who we’ve already met and love

In the episode “Selfishness v. Selflessness” after Deceit -now known as Janus- left, Virgil brings up something that caught my attention....

39:49- “do not allow him or any of his friends to stick around that long ever again”

This caught my attention because he said friends instead of friend, and so far we only know of Remus and Janus, but Virgil says friends in the plural context meaning there’s another side we don’t know about yet!!

In the newest episode that I LOVEEE Janus mentioned some things that were taken into strong consideration, including something he said near the end of the episode, “Putting others first- selfishness v. Selflessness redux”

39:56- as all things should be, well almost all things”

(I apologize for the awful photo of this one) but he mentions somthing that caught my eye, he says “almost all things” which is interesting,

now this could just be him speaking of himself, but the way he put it made me think otherwise, as if there’s something they’re not aware of, and he knows it, possibly new dark side

We know that each side is given a colour, and the pattern seems to be the colours of the rainbow as seen below👇🏻👇🏻

Red - Roman

Orange- ???

Yellow- Janus

Green- Remus

Blue- Patton

Indigo- Logan

Violet/ purple- Virgil

And there’s still a colour missing, Orange. So as said by multiple other people, the theory of another Side isn’t impossible and the hints are leading to it

As understood within the fandom, Roman and Remus are complete opposites, and their colours show it, red and green being complimentary colours and on the opposite sides of the colour wheel.

Another theory I’ve seen is that each Light side has a dark side that contrasts it, so seeing as orange’s complimentary colour is blue, both @chonkypastorboi and I have thought that ...

Maybe the new character is the opposite of Patton, and since Patton is the heart, and morality, the opposite of that could be negative emotions that are the opposite of what Patton believes in??

Aaaaaand now for some Janus appreciation because he was amazing in that episode!!!

I mean, LOOOOOK AT THAT GRINNNNNNNN !!!!!

And the hopefully new friendship with Janus and Patton!!!
