Life Update!
Hey guys! I just wanted to say it really means a lot that you guys continue to support my rocd posts despite my absence. It means a lot, and I hope that you all are doing well ❤️
Just wanted to give y'all a quick update: I broke up with my ex of 4 years last spring. Yes it was definitely a hard experience, and I definitely blamed myself a lot. I felt as though it was my fault, and it was a blow to my self confidence and my mental health. It took a long time to realize that because I was so afraid of my rocd that I willingly ignored a lot of red flags. And that our communication was failing. It was a learning experience that helped me grow, and is helping me develop my new relationship. While I am definitely haunted by my past mistakes, and am scared that the same thing will happen to my new relationship, I am also aware of how to better handle things.
For all of you going through breakups, heartbreak, and rocd, I can assure you that it's not the end of the world. With the help of friends, family, therapy, and most of all yourself, you will eventually realize that you are an incredible individual worthy of giving and receiving love. I am so proud of all of you for continuing to push forward despite what you've gone through, and again if you guys need someone to talk to I will always be here to support as many of you as I can
Hey if you’re schizophrenic/psychotic I just want you to know that you’re a wonderful person and that you deserve so much better than the demonization, marginalization and stigmatization you face in this society.
Please consider reblogging this/other positivity posts for schizophrenic/psychotic people every once in a while. If you have more than 100 followers, odds are that a couple of them experiences psychosis and that they rarely see positivity posts for people with their symptoms.

If it’s too hard to think positive, think neutral.
I’m no better or worse than anyone else.
I deserve the same things in life as anyone else.
I’m a human being.
Right now, I am feeling ________(fill in the blank).
I don’t know how I’ll feel in 5 minutes, or tomorrow.
I can’t predict the future.
Life is full of painful, pleasurable, and boring moments.
The world is full of good, evil, and gray areas.
Now this! This I can get behind!
New rule, non muslims can’t say the word jihad. Until you stop conflating a word that means personal struggle with faith and temptation with terrorism youre just not allowed to say it.
I’m not a Muslim but I just thought I would reblog this because I think it’s definitely worth listening to.
It’s totally okay for non muslims to reblog this, and i encourage it. Im just glad you’re listening.
Oh god, finally someone said it. Every time I see words like “jihadist” I want to scream, but I’m not Muslim, so I wasn’t sure I should say anything.
Jihad means struggle. It doesn’t mean holy war or anything like it. In fact, there is no word in Islam for holy war, because the nature of Islam does not leave room for holy war. Islam has a juridical system, not a Pope who can just say “Go wage holy war.” Conflating the personal nature of jihad with violence is so very gross and it needs to stop. Period.
Actually, there’s another word non-muslims in the media shouldn’t use:
Allahu Akbar. It’s not a statement of terrorism. It means “god is great”. It’s something we say to praise our lord. It’s what we say when we pray. It’s not a statement of terrorism. Allahu Akbar doesn’t mean terrorism stop using it as one
I would really appreciate it if non Muslims understood this
I WILL NEVER NOT REBLOG THIS
Not just opioids. Things like Seroquel too.
https://www.drugs.com/article/grapefruit-drug-interactions.html heres a article with a list about drugs that could be effected by grapefruit
I knew this was with my sertraline so didn’t eat it but wow o.o
Oh shit I’m on a really high dose you just saved my ass
I think it can also interfere with birth control pills.
If you take any oral medication, assume you cannot consume grapefruit by default, until you are reliably informed otherwise. Including for OTC meds and supplements.
Grapefruit ain’t that good.
But your health is.
Parden my obnoxious giant rainbow, it’s for maximum visibility. This shit is important.
Hey amigos, the artist I always work with for merch designs wants to do an awareness campaign and donate 20% of the proceeds to a charity that’s related to it - I thought it would be great to come up with a campaign together. Do you have any suggestions?
Bees!
I second bees. Millions of bees are dying off, with alarming consequences for our environment and our food supply. We rely on bees to pollinate everything from almonds to strawberries to the alfalfa used to feed dairy cows. What happens if the bees disappear? It’s simple: No bees, no food. Believe it or not, you have a bee to thank for every one in three bites of food you eat.
Scientists know that bees are dying from a variety of factors—pesticides, drought, habitat destruction, nutrition deficit, air pollution, global warming and more. Many of these causes are interrelated. The bottom line is that we know humans are largely responsible for the two most prominent causes: pesticides and habitat loss (source)
Bees it is! We are going to work on a design!
Here are four 501(с)(3) organizations I consider donating to. Leave a comment if you would like to make a case for or against any of the charities listed below:
https://pollinator.org/
http://www.orchardbee.org/
https://www.planetbee.org/
https://thehoneybeeconservancy.org
I sent in a request to Teespring to donate to Pollinator Partnership yesterday and got this email response back:
The Honeybee Conservancy is registered in their system so I asked them to donate to this charity. The Honeybee Conservancy does research on honeybees, solitary bees, and native bees!
By the way, the design is almost ready so I will update this post soon!
The artwork is ready! There is a print on the front and back!
Front:
Back:
We got tees, hoodies, sweaters, and tote bags!
Note: Due to the artwork being very large, it is compressed and appears pixelated on the mock-up. However, it’s 300 dots per inch: the print is of high quality.
Hope you all like the design (:
You can get yours here!
I WOULD PAY TEN TIMES AS MUCH FOR CHOCOLATE IF IT MEANT REDUCING THE AMOUNT OF SLAVES IN THE WORLD? HOW IS THIS ANY KIND OF PROBLEM.
good news, you can! the company’s called Tony’s Chocolonely and their entire purpose is to make slave-free chocolate and reform the chocolate industry.
https://tonyschocolonely.com/us/en
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony%27s_Chocolonely
Whole Foods carries it. If you don’t want to support an Amazon-owned company, World Market carries it. You can also buy it directly from the company.
It’s the best chocolate I’ve ever had and it’s 100% slave free. Tony’s Chocolonely works really hard to push for transparency within the chocolate industry and actually has and is following an action plan to eliminate slavery within cocoa production. They’re good people who make good chocolate.

don’t 👏 tell 👏 your 👏 partner 👏 you 👏 have 👏 taken 👏 an 👏 STD 👏 test 👏 if 👏 you 👏 haven’t 👏 just 👏 to 👏 have 👏 sex
I got an STD because my ex boyfriend did exactly this. Thank god I tested myself when I started a new relationship. The sooner you get tested the more effective the treatment is if you have an STD. Get tested!
For those who are not comfortable seeing a specialist face to face, or if it’s too expensive where you live, LetsGetChecked sells high-quality STI tests.
Before you get all confused what the difference between STDs and STIs is:
“STI stands for sexually transmitted infection, and many people, mostly the medical community, have begun transitioning from “STD” to “STI” in an effort to clarify that not all sexually transmitted infections turn into a disease. For instance, the vast majority of women who contract HPV (human papilloma virus) will not develop the resulting disease cervical cancer. In fact, most cases of infection will clear up within two years. Additionally, people who use this term believe that it also eliminates some of the shame that’s been associated with the acronym “STD.”” (source)
You can test yourself at home. They send you a testing kit to a place of your choosing. Then all you have to do is collect a sample and send it back. A team of physicians will review your results and a member of the nursing team will contact you to deliver the results and discuss treatment options if necessary. I highly recommend them.

Intro
Hello everyone! I’m not sure if anyone will ever bother with my blog, and I’m pretty new to this, but I decided to create and dedicate my new Tumblr page to relationship OCD.
I’m a 24 year old female, who has been dating a great guy for about 3 years. Recently, I’ve been living with obsessive thoughts about whether or not I love him. I’d ask myself a series of questions that would offer a small moment of relief, before having the urge to repeat these questions yet again. I feel urges to break up with him, even though there is no reason to I’m very happy with him, and suffer from the occasional panic attack.
However, I know that I love him, and I’ve had a huge amount of support from my brother, my boyfriend, and my counselor. If anyone ever wants to talk about how they feel, or just wants to say hi, don’t hesitate to reach out. It helped me to realize that I wasn’t the only one who felt this way, and I’d really like to help those who feel alone/isolated.
If enough people ask, I’ll update everyone on how things are. But until then, I’ll just reblog tons of things that hopefully will cheers everyone up!
When I first started experiencing anxiety and rOCD, I had no idea what was going on and felt like I was crazy. If I talked to people they would say that I probably should break up with my boyfriend, but I didn’t want to do that. If I looked up stuff online, almost everything would tell me that I’m not happy in my relationship and needed to move on. But none of those things felt right. I was happy with my boyfriend, so why did I feel this way?
It took a while, but then I found this site where other people felt exactly how I did. I felt such crazy relief, and if you’re interested in sharing your experience or just want to read about how others feel and react to their own experiences, you guys should check out this site!
When doubt and overwhelming thoughts hit you, they can sometimes hit you hard. In those moments try and take some deep breaths, and hold on to positive memories/feelings. My counselor told me about safety statements, and they can be pretty helpful. A good example of a safety statement is: “(name), you are calm and safe in this moment.” You can change it up depending on your situation, but it can really help to repeat it to yourself (mentally or out loud) until you eventually feel yourself calming down. It takes some time and practice, but it can be useful to deal with stress or anxiety.
I hope this helps someone

It’s important to remember that love portrayed in movies and media is often over-exaggerated! In real life, you’ll get angry at your partner, or irritated, or bored. But that doesn’t mean you don’t love them. Love and relationships require work and commitment, and as long as you are willing to keep moving forward with them then that’s all that matters.
I know I struggled with not contantly being in “love,” I thought something was wrong with me. I thought if I wasn’t constantly feeling good feelings toward my partner then it meant that the relationship was over. But that’s not how it actually is! Truth be told I was happy with my partner, but it took a while for me to realize that it’s okay to feel angry or irritated with them too. It’s okay to get some alone time. It’s okay to want space.
Getting over this anxiety and rOCD takes time, and there will always be setbacks or bad moments, but realize that there will also be good days! There will be good weeks and good months! As hard as it is, don’t focus too much on the negative. Try to talk it out with your partner, your friend, your therapist, or whoever you trust. Everything will be okay, even if it doesn’t always feel like it.
