It’s Japan!!!! Definitely one of the dream places that I’ve always wanted to visit and non of anybody had any bad comments about it after returning from their trip there. So yeah a day before my birthday, I flew to Japan!! 😛
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
This was also my first time taking the Japanese airline, All Nippon Airways (ANA) that provides so far the best service I’ve ever had onboard. Surprisingly the price for ANA this time was comparable with our local budget airline Airasia so ANA it is!
Only if I can get this view from the plane!!!
Nah this is the actual photo. Was just playing with a bit of photoshop on the previous photo 😛
So once we touched down, we took the Narita Express that took up to 90 minutes ride from Narita Airport to Shinjuku station. It would be great if you get a return tickets for the Narita Express cause it’s cheaper than buying separately. So it was a very chill experience along the way and by the time we landed it was almost 4pm in Japan time so sunset was just in time (sunset in Winter is earlier).
We checked into Ibis Hotel Shinjuku and it was already dark and we were soo soo hungry!!!
The first night in Japan and I already fell in love! Look at the street and the lights!
Not to mention it was colddddddddd.
The flow of my blog will be according to the timeline that I was in Japan so if you happen to see any place you’d like to visit or interested, please jot it down and feel free to ask me more about it!!!
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Classic fact about the metro that everyone’s so so quiet and they stood so still in their own position. The fact that it was so safe being there, I didn’t mind being cramped tightly in the crowd.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
The next morning we visited the famous Blue Bottle Coffee at Aoyama. Talking about Aoyama, ohh it’s just an indulgence just to walk around the streets with beautiful architectures around all the small alleys.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Checklist list ticked: to have that blue bottle paper cup 😛
The doughnut balls on the left was so so so good you must try!!! and we tried the lemon poppy seed cake too.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Then we continued strolling around the streets and kept being amazed by everything we’ve seen.
Another fact about Japan is that the light and shadow are coordinating perfectly with each other.
#ootd with the architecture of Prada Aoyama is a must as the structure was designed in diamond-honeycomb like and the light refraction makes it shine perfectly.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
We then took metro to Ginza and came upon this street.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Japanese pop culture never dies ❤
Second day was basically exploring the city’s interesting corners and feeling the cold.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
It was my birthday!!! So this was my birthday dinner (Happy Birthday to me!!!) and it was one of the best! This was at Izuei Honten, which is an unagi specialist that serve really really good unagi with reasonable price.
Waking up super early the next day for the exciting experience at Sensō-ji. It is an ancient Buddhist temple located at Asakusa.
It was already super packed around 9am in the morning.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
You can find a lot of interesting Japanese street food and cute souvenirs along the street towards the main temple.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
And for the girls, you can rent Kimono and walk around the streets to have a closer experience of being a Japanese.
Never skipped the Japanese Strawberry Mochi aka Ichigo Daifuku when you’re in Japan cause their strawberries are super huge and sweet!
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
The temple itself was so magnificent and you can follow the Japanese traditional prayer and have your blessings there.
Ok continued exploring the streets 😛

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Next destination was the Tokyo Skytree and you can check on the tickets here.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
We only went up to the 350th floor and this was already the view!!!!
Hi Skytree, I see you.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
There are stores selling merchandise and souvenirs as well as skytree cafe that has their signature softserve!
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Look at this!! I was and am speechless….
Next morning we took a super early 6am train to Hakone then Fuji for 3 days. Make sure you get your Hakone-Fuji 3 days express pass at Odakyu Station for only less than RM400 and it includes the return ticket Odakyu-Hakone-Fuji-Odakyu, ropeway pass. pirate cruise tour and almost all the bus accessible around Hakone and Fuji unlimitedly within 3 days.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Hehe bento is unavoidable in the train!!
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
After we arrived at Hakone Station, we had to transit to another train to Gora which is where our hotel located.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Look at this cute red vending machine hiding by the railway.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
So yeah this happened when we got out from the wrong side of the train going to our hotel and there’s no route for us to walk over, so we had to wait for the next train lollllll.
Hoorayyyyyy we’ve finally arrived at Laforet Club Hakone Gora.
I got so excited to be trying out Yukata for the first time in my life. It was super comfortable as you know, nothing inside :))))) Hahahahah It was also my first time trying onsen!!! It felt so so so good especially during Winter! This is the private onsen in the room and they do have the public pool too.
This is also the first hotel I’ve ever stayed that I did not have to wear my shoes at any part of the hotel including lobby. We were given the complimentary Japanese traditional socks so that we were to wear around in the hotel.
It’s interesting that everyone is wearing the same yukata at the breakfast lounge.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
The next day, instead of taking the train back to Hakone station, we chose to walk a lil and there are so many traditional architecture worth seeing.
From Hakone station, we took the local bus with our freepass to checkout the Hakone Shrine and the famous Torii by lake Ashi.
Taadahhhhh
Then we used the freepass for the pirate cruise that bring us around to witness the magnificent Mt. Fuji!
Look at this!!!!! That little white cap on the peak of Mt. Fuji is so elegant!
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
From the cruise, we did not go back to where we boarded but another pit stop so we could take the Hakone Ropeway to Owakudani, where the sulfur craters are located.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Another view of Mt Fuji from the top of Owakudani.
This is the Chinese name for Hakone.
Then we headed to the Torii and it’s freaking huge and the wind almost blew us away.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Getting some #ootds after completing all the mandatory destinations.
Just me and my vending machine. Can I have one at home??????
and we found this cute 7-11 by the cliff.
Back to Hakone station. Oh yeah for convenience we dropped our baggage at Hakone station so we did not have to travel back to hotel as we needed to depart to Kawaguchiko station on the same day.
Finally arriving at Kawaguchiko and means we were closer to Mt Fuji! How cute even the car plate number starts with Fujisan.
Our home for another night, Royal Hotel Kawaguchiko.
Morning light shines through the window beautifully
and I have Mt Fuji behind me, this cannot be anymore perfect.
Yukata moments.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Yes we woke up to this lake right in front of our hotel!
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Hi Mt Fuji, you are everywhere! ❤
So we walked around Kawaguchiko for a bit then took the local bus to Lake Kawaguchiko.
Then we came upon this primary school by the lake and the adorable Japanese kids were doing sports, hmm more too just having fun hahaha.
After that, we headed to Chureito Pagoda, that is located at the hill top overlooking Mt. Fuji.
Unfortunately the weather turned so sunny and the sunlight was too bright that day so couldn’t get a really good photo. Yes this is the view! Basically walking up to this Pagoda is one hell of a workout! Trust me don’t take the stairs, take the curve sloppy route instead, it’s a lot easier though it may no seem so.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
All the residence from the top.
That’s the end of our 3 days in Hakone-Fuji and taking the train back to Shinjuku!
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
First thing back to Shinjuku, Food!!!!!! This was at Ichiran Ramen, Yummehhhh
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Ramen ended the previous night pretty well especially after the journey of bus ride from Kawaguchiko back to Shinjuku. The next day we dropped by Fuglen Espressobar and they have pretty decent coffee though, up to my personal favorite.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Who doesn’t love doughnut right?:P
Since we only had a doughnut in the morning so here we were at Shake Shack Shibuya!!! I’ve been wanting to have it again after my first time at Dubai 4 years ago and finallyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!! It’s definitely one of the best fast food I’ve ever had.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
After feeding our tummies, we walked to Tokyo Plaza and it’s got a pretty amazing view from the rooftop.
Shibuya crossing!!
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Hi traffic light! (I mean the colors of the cabs hehe)
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
The next day we woke up super early again, ok not super early but still early hahah, for a trip to Tsukiji Market! Yasss seafood and tamago!!!!!
That was the huge grilled scallop that I had, it was so fresh and juicy. Ignore my sleepy swollen face in the morning pls.
Then you’ve got all kind of seafood being served in different ways along the market. It’s kinda confusing for a first timer like me to walk around as it spreads out to different directions.
She’s so gorgeous wearing the traditional Kimono.
and the not to be missed Tamago!!!!
We’ve tried this humongous crab stick was yummeh too.
Eheh bumped into go kart with costume on the road. Yes you can rent it with the costume and drive in the city.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Next stop, About Life Coffee, was where I had the best coffee in Tokyo. It’s just a small corner lot with only 2 bench outside the shop and some standing spots besides the coffee machines, tiny but best coffee!!
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Another coffee stop at Saturday Surf NYC at Daikanyama and at the same time we got to shop for their products too.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
The seats are actually at the balcony overlooking the streets of Daikanyama, pretty dope isn’t it?
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Seems like a day full of eating. Next if you’re looking for an affordable and good sashimi restaurant, you should try out Sushino Minori.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Ooopss doughnut again! This was at Doughnuts & Coffee.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Pink is obviously the concept of this cafe so they made everything so Instagrammable. However the doughnut was too sweet and coffee was not good though 😦
The Doughnuts & Coffee was en route to visit the Tokyo Tower and here I was!
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Waited for sunset and the tower was lit beautifully.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
That was the last night in Japan and we decided to have Izakaya for our dinner. Was looking for quite a few back at Shinjuku but never seemed to have a decent one until we thought of this street. This was where I took the first picture on the first night when we first landed. It’s called Shosuke. Trust me they serve really really good and comforting food from fried udon to yakitori and paired with Japanese draught beer, BEST!!!!
On the last morning before departing to the airport, we dropped by Shibuya for the last cafe visit called Little Nap Coffee Stand.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
and I fell in love with this quote from them saying ‘I’d rather enjoy a cup of coffee than taking photo’, which cannot be totally true as taking photos is my passion but it’s funny though.
So nah, I took a photo of stranger enjoying his coffee, that’s perfect! 😉
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
That wraps up my 10D9N trip to Tokyo, Japan and it’s the best best country that I’ve ever visit so far. I finally understand why so many of my friends make Japan as the annual holiday destination.
ps special thanks to my gears Olympus OMD EM1 Mark 2 and the lenses for all the photos that I’ve captured as my best memories.
Japan, I’ll see you again ❤
Konichiwa, beautiful land of culture! It's Japan!!!! Definitely one of the dream places that I've always wanted to visit and non of anybody had any bad comments about it after returning from their trip there.
Good newssss people!!!! Olympus Pen series is gonna take over the market with it’s new product that’ll make your life way way easier especially for the travel junkies!!!
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Taadaahhhhh This is it! The latest Olympus Pen E-PL9 is officially launched today (7th February 2018)! As we know that the Oympus Pen series has always been the selfie-ready camera and now it has been taken to the new level that features 31 types of Art Effects and 4K video recording! What?!! Yesss you can Vlog with 4K quality now!
Why does it call selfie-ready camera? First it has pretty small and slim design plus the vintage look of it, it can be one of your accessories some times when you’re taking your #OOTD.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Hehe these are the proves of how small the E-PL9 is, look at the comparison especially with my iPhone 6S! It also comes with 4 different colors such as Black, Brown, White and Navy Blue.
So let me go walk through some of the features that I like about this camera.
1. Selfies with Stunning Bokeh and e-Portrait
Above are 2 pictures of me taken in a similar angle. Both shows the stunning bokeh of the background that normally phone does give and this latest series comes with the e-Portrait mode which you can turn it on and it beautifies your skin immediately! Call me flawless now!! *flip-hair hahahaha
So here’s how you’re gonna turn on the e-Portrait mode. There’s a human icon on the left of the screen, just tap on it and you can turn it ‘on’ and ‘off’, and YESS this camera is TOUCH SCREEN!
2. Perfect for your Vlog!
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Yes with the feature of flipping the screen over, you can now do your recording at ease by just tapping on the screen to start and stop recording. Most importantly, it’s 4k video!!!! Then, you can also play back your videos by touching the screen too.
3. Art Filter
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
This model will be the first ever selfie-ready camera that has this ‘Instant Film’ art filter that gives you a very retro feel in your photos as if they were taken with the vintage film camera.
4. Auto Mode
What is auto mode. Auto mode means it has over 120 focal points with built in bokeh that allows a sharper focus with depth in the background as compared to photos taken with phones.
Taken with E-PL9
Taken with iPhone 6s
Taken with E-PL9
Taken with iPhone 6s
Photos on the left were taken with E-PL9 and on the right were taken with iPhone 6s. As you can see, the images on the left are a lot sharper in clarity and with better bokeh effect.
5. Bluetooth Sharing
It’s very common for a camera to have wifi feature that allows us to transfer our photos instantly to our phone but in order to do that, we’ll have to disconnect our wifi and lose connection to the internet. Now this problem will be solved with the Bluetooth Sharing feature that allows us to transfer photos via Bluetooth without disconnecting our wifi.
I’m not able to show you the connection of bluetooth here yet as it will only be made available in the camera system on 7th February onward but basically how you do it, you’ll have click on the Menu>Wifi & Bluetooth>Turn on the Availability>Pair with Phones and you’re good to go!
6. TruePicVIII processor & 3-Axis Image Stabilisation
TruePic VIII processor delivers better image quality at higher ISO and prevent image blur especially at critical condition (low light). While the 3-Axis Image Stabilisation ensures sharp focus in low light condition with slower speeds.
The combination of these 2 features allow a lot sharper images to be taken easily.
7. AP Mode
AP modes allow us to capture different types of photos easily with it’s auto-adjusted system.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Multiple Exposure is one of the AP modes that allows us to overlap different images in a single image without the hassle of going through editing in Photoshop.
Live Composite is another AP mode that I find the most amazing. Live composite means a long exposure image of moving object especially running car lights. With this feature, once you switch into this mode, this camera will automatically be adjusted into the composition that is needed for long exposure. Therefore, beginners like us can now capture long exposure images easily without going through the manual adjustment on the shutter, ISO and aperture! How amazing it is!!!
Overall, this is definitely one of the easiest camera to use and best to replace our phone in taking photos!! Make sure you look up into it today!
Guess What’s Launched Today??? Good newssss people!!!! Olympus Pen series is gonna take over the market with it's new product that'll make your life way way easier especially for the travel junkies!!!
Hey hey you, yes, attention to all the travelers out there! Airasia X has opened a new direct route to Jeju Island, Korea on December 2017 onward! Basically this was my first time visiting Korea so obviously it’s my virgin trip to Jeju Island as well.
Annyeong-haseyo!!
Can you see that tiny peak covered with snow? Yeah that’s the famous mountain in Jeju called Hallasan (Halla Mountain). Hallasan is one of the mandatory tourist spots.
It was a 6 hours flight from Kuala Lumpur to Jeju International Airport but thanks to Airasia X’s friendly services and the always amazing Nasi Lemak as my breakfast to keep me full throughout the journey.
Once we touched down, we went for Ginseng chicken porridge at the place shown in the picture below. It was freaking delicious with tremendous portion! Serious, it was so huge a bowl with half a chicken dipped inside the porridge and I’ve never tried such soft Ginseng before.
After that we headed straight to Jeju Shinhwa World Resort and checked into our hotel.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Huge layout, minimal interior and polite staffs. Jeju Shinhwa World Resort is located at the South West of Jeju Island, around 45 minutes drive from Jeju City. Quoted from their official webpage, “Jeju Shinhwa World will be one of South Korea’s speculative integrated resorts, spanning across a land area of approximately 2.5 million square meters and a total investment of $US 1.8 billion (2 trillion) Korean won development. Jeju Shinhwa World has premium leisure and entertainment facilities which cater to local and overseas visitors of all ages.”
Ok I’m missing these bunch too much! Love this series of candid taken by Neollene.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Nothing much going on the first day so I’m gonna fast forward to the second day where we had our conference with Airasia X in officially launching the Kuala Lumpur-Jeju route.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Managed to take some #ootd after the conference then we were dragged to another destination which was Seopjikoji.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Seopjikoji is located at the end of the eastern shore of Jeju Island. “Seopji” is the old name for the area, and “Koji” is Jeju dialect meaning a sudden bump on land. On Koji hill which is wide and flat, there stands a stone Bongsudae called “Hyeopjayeondae” with a 4m height and 9m length and width that has retained its original form.
Seopjikoji was the filming site of “Gingko Bed,” “The Uprising,” “One Thousand and One Nights” and other Korean TV dramas. Nearby attractions include Jeju Folk Village, Udo Island and Seongsan Ilchulbong as well.
The wind on top of the hill was crazily cold it ate through our skins and our hair look like a mess, as you can see from the photo above.
That’s the peak of Seongsan Ilchulbong from across the sea en route from Seopjikoji. it is one of the World UNESCO Heritage where the peak rose from under the sea in a volcanic eruption over 100,000 years ago. The sunrise from the crater is breathtaking.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

These were taken at the entrance to the peak.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Look at this huge pot of mackerels!!! This is where we had our dinner before ending the second day with joy.
One of the most exciting destinations of all, the Hallasan National Park!! It’s all covered with snow!!
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Hallasan mountain is located right a the center of Jeju Island and it was designated as a national park in 1970, there are 368 parasitic volcanoes called Oreums (peaks) around the main mountain. Hallasan Mountain is relatively easy to hike. With hiking courses less than 10 km in length, it is possible to go to the peak and back in one day.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Look at the view, I’m in love, all over again ❤
That was me, Alvin & Melanie
After Hallasan National Park, we were brought to the famous Cheonjiyeon Waterfall in Jeju.
We took a walk along the path towards Cheonjiyeon Falls for a kilometer and could hear the magnificent sound of the water falling. The waterfall is 22m high, 12m wide and 20m in depth.
Admission Fees Individual: Adults 2,000 won/ Children 1,000 won Groups: Adults 1,600 won/ Children 600 won

After a long day of walk at the mountain and waterfall, we visited a pretty darn cool cafe called Vadada Beach Lounge. Sipping my coffee overlooking the sea from the balcony, that’s life! 😛
Must must must try out their prawn burger! I can’t remember what’s the name of it but yeh it was the burger with prawn patty hahaha.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Next, off to Jusangjeolli Cliff. It was the last destination for the day. Jusangjeolli are columnar rock formations with cross sections in hexagonal or triangular shapes.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
The next morning, we visited the Glass Castle which is a museum that collects everything made of glass. There are six themed model parks, in which over two hundred and fifty models are exhibited. These include the world’s very first all-glass labyrinth, the world’s largest glass ball and largest glass diamond, a glass stonewall, a mirror lake, and a glass bridge.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Then we headed to Innisfree Jeju House & Organic Cafe. Shop, eat and relax with the beautiful tea plantation as the backdrop can be very irresistible. I had a few damage on their skincare and we were lucky to have their special Christmas edition desserts.
After that we visited the Camellia Hill. It is the home to 6,000 camellia trees. In addition to camellia trees, there are also palm trees, wildflowers, and other plants as well as a sprawling grass plaza and an ecological pond.

Look at these adorable sheep, and the coffee table. Yes it’s a cafe in the farm! This cafe is called Baalamb, that’s about 10 minutes drive from Jeju Shinhwa World Resort. Besides enjoying your hot coffee or tea inside the cafe, you can actually pay to feed the sheep!
They were so tamed and adorable!!
So on the last full day in Jeju before saying goodbye to everyone, we visited Shinhwa Theme Park. It’s the first theme park in Jeju Shinhwa World that is open to public now and followed by Lionsgate that will be completed in 2020. Larva was just too cute in the theme park!!!!
Can you imagine playing the rides under heavy snow and strong wind??? Yeah we almost got frozen by that lol! This was one of the ride that went inverted for about 10 secs and turned rotational and revolutionary.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
There’s the Larva land that has all the characters around you including the souvenir store that sells the cutest merchandises!
and they have this Larva-themed marry-go-round.
This is my favourite Larva sweater that I got in the theme park, isn’t it adorable??!!
The last part of this blog can be a lil PG-18 as we visited one of the famous tourist spots called Love Land. It is a park that has all the sex-related sculptures that are presented in a humorous way.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
There’s this naked woman’s sculpture and the penis sculpture. Twenty artists, mainly graduates of top art school Hongik University, helped open it in November 2004. Admission Fees Adults 9,000 won / Group 8,000 won Visitors aged 65 or older, the handicapped 8,000 won / Group 7,000 won * Group : 30 people or more * ID check required.
My first visit to Jeju, so as Korea, has been really really amazing with the Airasia X and of course everyone that I’ve met through this trip. To be honest it can be real hard for me to get along with everyone well in a fam trip as I have no idea how everyone’s personality’s like. However I had a real good time with everyone. Til next time!!!
Winter in Jeju Hey hey you, yes, attention to all the travelers out there! Airasia X has opened a new direct route to Jeju Island, Korea on December 2017 onward!
Do you bake?
I don’t but I’ve always wanted to and I’ve finally made it!! Firstly, thanks to my 2 favourite girls Edeline How for your secret recipe for me to start with and Jasmine Wong for the guidance throughout the whole scary baking experience.
I’m always a fan of banana cake and of course it is the easiest cake to bake! What I did this time was to make a twist from the traditional loaf of banana cake into my favourite naked cake. Recipe can be like any other banana cake’s and all you need is to top with buttercream and toppings up to your creativity.
As this is a secret recipe from Edeline, so these are the basic ingredients and methods that is kinda close to the recipe I had.
Ingredients
2 to 3 very ripe bananas, peeled
1/3 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
3/4 cup sugar (1/2 cup if you would like it less sweet, 1 cup if more sweet)
1 large egg, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
Method
1 Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C), and butter a 4×8-inch loaf pan.
2 In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until completely smooth. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
3 Mix in the baking soda and salt. Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix in the flour.
4 Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan. Bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour at 350°F (175°C), or until a tester inserted into the center comes out clean.
5 Remove from oven and let cool in the pan for a few minutes. Then remove the banana bread from the pan and let cool completely before serving. Slice and serve. (A bread knife helps to make slices that aren’t crumbly.)
Taadaaaa!!! Here’s my naked banana cake! Basically after I baked it, I sliced it into half (top & bottom) and paste a layer of buttercream in between. After that, you just smash your leftover buttercream onto the outer layer of the cake and make it as rustic and naked as you could hahahah. Lastly, I topped it with some rosemary leaves and gooseberries.

Thankful to be spending my weekend with Panasonic Beauty Malaysia yesterday for the launch of a new line up of Hair Care series & a new range of Leg Air Massager.
First thing first at the event, OOTD! To blend in well with the Black & Gold theme, I was in full black on black and the only gold I had on my body was the gold bracelet.
I was there slightly early but the venue was already packed with people who were waiting for the special appearance of TVB artist Ali Lee (李佳芯). Before the event started, I’ve explored a lil bit by myself on the latest series of the products.
EH-NE81-K655 is a 2500W high power ionity hair dryer that dries your hair quickly, gently and beautifully with a heat protection mode that protects your hair & scalp from excessive heat. It comes with ion conditioning that provides extra care by coating a layer of ion over your hair for extra moisture and neutralization of our hair’s positive electrical charge (positive electrical charge makes our hair stand on the end). Besides that, this hair dryer comes with a well-balanced design that ensures users comfortability while using it.
EH-NE82-K655 is an advanced version of EH-NE81-K655, it has all it’s function with a slight difference on the heat protection as this has additional advanced heat protection sensor that will detect the temperature of the airflow and automatically control the temperature. Besides that, this model comes with a diffuser that is perfect for permed or naturally curly hair as it sends air all the way to the roots. Both models have 3 temperature and 2 speed settings.

These were the 2 demos that how powerful the EH-NE81-K655 & EH-NE82-K655 are comparing to other hair dryers in the market.

Another product that was introduced at the event was the EH-HS99-K655 that’s the Nanoe Hair Straightener. Curious about what’s good about this straightener? Lemme explain to you.
It comes with 5 different temperatures (150/170/180/200/230oC) that allows you to styling your hair with appropriate temperature depending on your hair condition or your styling needs. It has an even heating distribution plate that ensures your hair is straightened evenly. More importantly, this model has an advanced stable heater that that will prevent cooling of the heating plate by restoring the temperature automatically throughout your styling hence improving hair-straightening performance by 20%.
What really make this hair straightener a different one is because of the moisture-packed nanoe that is generated from air holes in the side of the plate that’ll moisturize your hair during styling. Basically even heating hair at high temperature, nanoe actually prevents moisture-loss and heat-damage and the photo ceramic plate helps to maintain hair color by reducing color-fading by 30% & reducing moisture-loss by 20%!
Oh besides straightening, you can use it to curl our hair too within just 15 minutes!!

Lastly the portable Leg Air Massager EW-RAJ6-P422 that basically allows you to have your massage anytime anywhere. It has a warmer (heater) that fits comfortably around your toes for relaxing purposes especially after all day of walking. Unlike a normal feet massager, this model massages your entire legs from toes to around knees and thighs. Self modifiable knee wrap and thigh wrap styles that allows you to massage different parts of your legs depending on your needs.
It massages a total of 12 points of your legs featuring 8 massage programs learned from professionals and six-valve system that enable real-time control of motion of the multiple air bags in each position.

I guess you’ve been bored by all the writings above. Why not come to their stores and have a demo session as what Hafiz and Guibo did yesterday! I’d always believe that real-time experiences are way explainable than word descriptions.
Once again thanks Panasonic Beauty Malaysia for the warm invitation and hospitality. Hope you find this useful for all men and women out there. #MakeBeautifulHappen
Let’s See How Panasonic Make Beautiful Happen Thankful to be spending my weekend with Panasonic Beauty Malaysia yesterday for the launch of a new line up of Hair Care series & a new range of Leg Air Massager.
5th October embarked the remarkably memorable trip of mine, 10547.64km away from home to the beautiful city of London.
I was excited yet nervous as it was my first time ever traveling so far.
I know most of you have been to London and I don’t think there’s any point of me to do a ‘London City Guide’, moreover you can find it everywhere like Monocle. So here I’m to share my experience in London with all my photos.
Day 1
It was about 15oC when we touched down at Heathrow airport and the first thing I saw was these adorable little cabs queuing by the roadside. Honestly, I wish the amount of photos that I’m gonna show u would not bore you to death.

First thing first, checked in to our hotel at Mercure London Bridge with the nearest Southwark underground station.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Mercure London Bridge is just a walking distance away from the famous Borough Market. As we were starving by the time we were done loading our luggage in the rooms, it’s FOOD time!! no place in mind and then we saw this restaurant at Borough Market called Roast. Second floored restaurant that was surprisingly spacious that serves decent lunch.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Seriously?! Literally every corner is photo-worthy.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
So we spent half of our first day strolling around the city especially at Oxford Circus & Regent Street. I got a lil too excited to see so many double deckers around:P
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
and of course one of my favourite coffee spot cause of their pretty papercup! haha
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

St. Paul Cathedral is one of the famous cathedral in London that has been dominating the skyline of London for over 300 years. The entrance fee to enter St Paul cathedral was around £16 to £18 if not mistaken.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Aha!! The mandatory shots with the red telephone booth. Sadly this phone booth smelled so badly. Look at that fake smile hahaha.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Then we explored to an area called Marylebone where we were looking for Monocle cafe.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Monocle cafe checked!
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Day 2
This was my favourite little corner of the hotel’s restaurant where I got my daily dose of delicious croissants for 4 days.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Off to the British Museum (free entry) on the 2nd day and look at this Theatre Kiosk!!!

British Museum is among the largest with most comprehensive existence of collections originate from all continents and was established in the year of 1753.
After our visit to the museum, we made our way to meet our lovely Brian Neo who recently just moved to London for his degree.
First thing first, FISH & CHIPS!!!
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
So we went back to Borough Market again as Google showed us one of the famous Fish!Kitchen was located there.
We actually made a reservation to dine in but the prices between dining in and taking away was £10 difference! Hehe of course we chose the cheap option and ate outside of the shop as almost everyone did. 😛
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Are all florists in London so pretty??!!
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Gotcha! Our Brian Neo was doing his thanggg and hi stranger you fit into the yellow very well.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Here comes the Tower Bridge!!! Sadly the weather was gloomy but still it was quite a scene comparing between looking at it with my own eyes and over a picture or screen.
Ehhe the mandatory shot with the bridge
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
I could spend all day sitting by the river, sipping draught beer and looking at all the beautiful people and feeling the Autumn breeze.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
We walked across the bridge and headed to Chinatown then looked for our dinner restaurant which was…..
HONEST BURGER!!!
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
I’ve ordered the signature Honest burger that came with beef patty, red onion relish, smoked bacon, cheddar, pickled cucumber and lettuce with rosemary salted chips which costs £10.95.
and then heavy poured right after our dinner duhhh!!:((( So we had to rushed back to our hotel and got some rest for the 3rd day!
Day 3
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
It was a very exciting 3rd day as the sun was out!!
I put on my favourite pink Adidas sweater for the day and headed to meet Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts. Haha as in Notting Hill!
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Oh these little corners, I’ll just let the photos speak for themselves.
This is what I’m talking about! The colourful houses at Notting Hill where the movie “Notting Hill” was shot at.
After that we took the bus to Hyde Park which was one of my favourite places to go in London.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Can you feel the Gossip Girls in Autumn? Hahahaha. Of all the fallen leaves and cooling air, I wished I did not have to leave.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
I didn’t know if it was because of the cold or what, we got hungry real easy. We headed to Kingly Court near Oxford Circus looking for Dirty Bones after Hyde Park, but sadly it was closed.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Did my pizza tempt you a lil? Yeh we ended up having pizza at Pizza Pilgrims. I really love the overall ambience at Kingly Court cause I felt like I was instantly kept away from the hassle that was happening out of this area.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
After our late lunch, we headed to London Eye and Big Ben and the saddest thing was…
Big Ben was on it’s last year (3rd year) of renovation and this was the only thing we could see!!!!! 😦
Anyways, that area was packed af and we quickly made out way across the bridge towards London Eye.

Day 4
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Made it to the famous Monmouth cafe near Borough Market the next morning with high expectation but their service disappointed me though. I do love their interior as they utilized mostly wooden furniture and decent coffee too.
Hi old version of double decker!
Hi Paul patisserie
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
and hi you two little snugglers
and the pretty pink cab and trench coat
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
We had a reservation at The Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon @ Fortnum & Mason which I highly recommend for high tea.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Approximately £45 for a set of high tea that consist of 9 refillable items and various choices of tea. Refillable, that sounds attractive huh hahaha. Anyways, prior booking is advisable as it’s always packed.
Our only photo with Neo Neo before he left to Portsmouth the next day.
Day 5
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Here comes our last day in London and we spent the day wandering around Shoreditch and was introduced by William to this cafe called Franze & Evans, a down-to-earth neighborhood cafe that serves decent coffee and croissant.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Came upon the Brick Lane Market after that.
and a lot of unique little shops. I realised that almost every individual shop does visual merchandising!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Ok this was another favourite corner of mine in London, Neal’s Yard at Covent Garden.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
It is a small triangular kinda space surrounded by all the hipster restaurants and cafes.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Time for the last fish & chips before we left London the next day. We came to this restaurant called Rock & Sole Plaice. This restaurant has been here since 1871 and still serving amazing fish & chips!
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Then we went back to the Regent Street again to shop for a lil more and stumbled into this rustic homey espresso bar by Jack Wills. What a lovely space.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Sorry for another photo of the florist but I’m trying to express some sadness through this picture where the two of them walked away from each other as though I was walking away from this beautiful city on the last day. :(((((
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Managed to get my postcards posted to my family on the last day
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
So before we headed to the Wicked show, we went window shopping at Harrods. However, we were in the mall for less than 30 mins as everything in there was toooo expensive to afford!
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
At last, we ended our beautiful day with the best show, Wicked.
London has been amazing to us and truly an eye-opening trip ever. Til we meet again.
Oh stay tuned to my video soon!
Virgin Trip to London 5th October embarked the remarkably memorable trip of mine, 10547.64km away from home to the beautiful city of London.
How do you like my previous blog about Malihom, the private estate in Penang, Malaysia?
If you haven’t read it yet, here’s the link! Malihom, Penang. However this is not what I’m writing about today. I’m gonna share with you how did I spend my best Summer ever in Lombok!!!!!
Lombok has been one of the destinations that I was longing to visit. It’s where the famous Mount Rinjani located at. Since this was my first time there, our main interest was just to explore the whole Lombok and islands around it without killing our own bodies and souls by doing the 3 days 2 nights hike at Mount Rinjani.
Traveling with whole new camera gears was one of the greatest excitement during this trip. Switching from Olympus OMD EM-5 to Olympus OMD EM1 Mark II with 3 additional lenses was the best feeling ever!!
So I’m gonna split this blog into 2 parts – Lombok (mainland) & Gili Trawangan
Lombok
1. Svarga Resort Lombok (Accommodation)
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Svarga Resort Lombok is located at the west of Lombok where most of the famous restaurants and resorts are. 1 hour & 30 minutes of taxi ride from the Lombok International Airport will cost you roughly IDR 250,000 ~ RM79 (of course have to bargain from IDR 300,000).
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
We put no expectation on this resort and turned out to be such an amazing resort at a very affordable price! (RM250++ per night for 2 pax inclusive of breakfast)
Once settled down, we got our car rental with the help from the receptionist. Talking about transportation in Lombok, I would advise you to rent your own car that only cost you IDR 3000,000 (RM95) per day (8 hours) instead of hiring a driver that’ll cost you at least double.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
2. Tanjung Aan (Pristine Beach)
After getting our car, we drove to the south along the west coast to Tanjung Aan, it was around an hour journey from Senggigi beach.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Guys & girls! You cannot miss this place!!!!! Haha I’m not exaggerating cause Tanjung Aan is such beautiful. The water is blue with different shades, I feel like screaming while writing here hahaha.
Anyways, surprisingly this beach was not too packed with tourist (I guess Lombok is kinda huge that everyone is scattered everywhere). It’s a perfect beach for sunbathing, chilling or like me taking tons of photos and videos.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
When you walk along to the left end of the beach, there’s a small hill with steps where you can climb up and taadahhhh this is the view!! Yes these 2 guys were fishing like they were posing.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Special credit to this lovely auntie’s beautiful expression and thanks for selling beautiful scarf too ❤
3. Milk Espresso (Cafe & Spa)
Cafe scene is not as common as compared to Bali but we’ve found our favourite one here in Kuta, Lombok.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Fell in love with the Scandinavian interior with the touch of Summer. Milk espresso serves variety of smoothie bowl and Buddha bowl as well as decent coffee!!!
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Ok another good thing about Milk Espresso, they serve HUGE portion of food!!!!!
4. Senggigi Sunset
Senggigi was where we stayed & it’s located on the West coast, so sunset is the highlight of every evening. We were so lucky to have the perfect weather throughout the whole trip and every sunset was stunning and unique by itself.
Here’s I’m gonna give you a tip on Senggigi’s sunset. When you ask everyone in Lombok, most of them would advise you to watch sunset at the viewing point which is the Malimbu Hill. We followed their advice and drove there and realised that all our sunset view was just staring at the sun setting under the horizon, everything was flat and nothing special compared to any other sunsets I’ve ever seen.
Then we thought of somewhere else. As you drive along the West coast up North, you’ll see a lot of coconut trees by the beach, when I say a lot, it’s not just 10, it’s freaking a lot. So we drove back and found a small gate that leads you to this field of coconut trees.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Here’s what you’ll get to see. There was zero tourist but only the locals sitting by the beach enjoying the sunset. We literally dropped our jaws and wished this moment freezes forever.
As you walk towards the beach, the sunset is all yours. It’s amazing that the sun was actually setting behind the Mount Agung in Bali.
5. Sembalun (Paddy Field)
On the 3rd day, we extended our car rental and drove to Sembalun (East) which took us about 2 1/2 hours. We departed at 5am and as we drove around the island up North, the sunrise amazed us.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Paddy field will be with you all the way up North before heading East to Sembalun.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
We couldn’t resist the view and stopped by the roadside and took a few photos at the paddy field. I didn’t Photoshop the flare, it’s real!!!
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Sembalun is where Mount Rinjani is located. However, we did not plan for the hike at Rinjani as it’ll take 3D2N and we would be dead after the hike, so why not explore Lombok first and come back solely for the hike.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Finding the location you wanted to go by asking the locals will most probably lead you to the wrong way, trust me. They are lovely, but they might not know where you are referring to and point you a direction where they think the places might be. So after a misleading tough hike halfway up Bukit Nanggi, we had a feeling that we’ll not get to see what’s in the photos above. We headed back down and tried our luck in asking another young guy, and thanks to him, this colorful paddy field is at Bukit Selong, where it’s reachable by vehicle!! What an adventure after spending the whole morning looking for this spot. Anyways it was worth it.
6. Sendang Gile & Tiu Kelep (Waterfalls)
These 2 waterfalls are located at the root of Mount Rinjani and it is also part of the track up to this highest mountain in Lombok. Sendang Gile will be the first waterfall you’ll see after a 10 minutes hike from the entrance. (Tips: Locals will try to terrify you by telling the story of people missing in the route to the waterfalls few days ago without hiring any guides, we’ve been told the same so we hired and true enough it was pretty easy without any local guide, tracks are well built but still, it’ll be at your own risk).
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Sendang Gile, the layered waterfall with the water flows through the plants, splashing onto the rocks and rainbow formed due to the refraction of light through the water.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Another 15-20 minutes hike from Sendang Gile, you’ll arrive at the famous Tiu Kelep waterfall. It’s way larger & taller than the previous one.
Gili Trawangan
1. My Gili Paradise (Accommodation)
After exploring the beauty and nature of Lombok, we spent our last 3 days in Gili Trawangan island. Traveling to Gili T. island was a hilarious one. We’ve been told to only purchase the public boat tickets at the official ticketing office but our horse carriage brought us to one of the small offices. We had no idea that was not the official ticket sellers so we spent IDR 800,000 for 2 pax back and forth Gili T. and Lombok as well as the last trip to airport. This price was nego from IDR 1.5M!!! In fact, one way of public boat ticket only cost you IDR 15,000 Hahaha. So make sure you walk all the way to the Jetty and get your tickets there and ignore everyone around you.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
My Gili Paradise surprised us with a double storey hut and it’s located on the East coast, 5 minutes walk from the public boat jetty.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Making us of the hammock for photos while enjoying their simple breakfast. Oh! They sent our breakfast right outside our room!
2. Gili T. East
Strolling around the East side of Gili T. is one of the best things to do during the day but beware of the incoming horse carriages and bicycles, you don’t want to get bang by any of them. Besides wandering around the island itself, there are few more islands surrounding Gili T. which you can easily get the tour for it but we didn’t, we were just lazy.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Look at these photos! Almost every corner is Instagrammable!
3. Kayu Cafe
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
If you’re looking for a hipster cafe for coffee and some fancy lunches, try out Kayu Cafe at Gili T. East, They serve western brunch as well as Indonesian local food such as the fried noodle that I had in the picture.
4. Gili T. West
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Basically, Gili Trawangan is a very very small island. Lemme explain how small it is. Our only way of transportation on the island was our legs, and walking from the East to West around any side of the island took us 20-30mins!
I really love this photo cause it makes me look like a real jungle boy hehehe.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
The west is where you’ll see the famous sunset in Gili T., of course it’s the west what am I saying lolll. Anyways, take the south route instead of the north as you’ll get to see cool restaurants and views along the way.
Here’s what to do at the West,
Malibu Beach Club for buy 1 free 1 cocktails and the light bites, they are awwweeesomemeeeeee!!!!
Vila Ombak Hotel Sunset for the best sunset in Lombok!
Pearl Beach Lounge, for a lil fancy romantic dinner.
Sunset view from Malibu Beach Club

Pearl Beach Lounge for a good dinner
I understand that this might be too long for you to read, Drop me a message if you need more information but at the same time hope you enjoy this blog and all the photos!

Look at all the fresh catches at the bar!! Apparently the overall menu of the previous seafood restaurant has been revamped into another level of quality & freshness. Weekly air-flown of Canadian Lobsters, Caribbean Lobsters, Groupers, Chilean King Crab and many more types of seafood is the key of ensuring what you’ll be getting are fresh enough.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
First we were served with the Garden Crisp Salad, Lobster Bisque & Wild Mushroom Crema as the appetizers. The Garden Crisp Salad was unlike any other salad that I’ve tried before you know why? Cause it has a hint of spiciness that comes from a type of vegetable that is used in this plate! Not too spicy, not weird, it’s just nice & interesting.
However my favourite was the Lobster Bisque! It wasn’t too seafoody as most of the lobster bisque available out there that I felt disgusted after a few scoops & you actually get tiny chunkcs of lobsters inside the bisque like playing teasure hunt, of course they serve a larger piece on the side of the plate with a slice of toast.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Here’s comes the light bites which were the Crispy Prawn Cocktail with the crispy prawns served on a bed of salad topped with their very special Ginger Soy sauce, it is indeed very special and tasty & Golden Squid & Salsa, flash-fried Korean squids with ginger, dried chillies, onion rings & basil leaves and in-house salsa sauce.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Ok I have to admit we were already 3/4 full even before the mains came. The first main was the Grilled Paprika Chicken, juicy & tender chicken breast marinated for 24 hours then grilled & basted with your own choice of sauce between the special ginger soy sauce & mustard (I personally love the mustard sauce so so much!!), served with fragrant salsa rice plus sauteed zucchini & cherry tomatoes.
Second was the Crispy Battered Fish & Friends, tender groupers fillet fried to golden perfection with crunchy prawns & fries, with salad as the side & the signature tartar sauce. The grouper fillets were so fresh and sweet!
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Jeng Jeng Jeng here comes the SIGNATURE dish!!! The Nice Catch’s Spicy Seafood Feast came with the medley of seafood & vegetables slowly poached in steaming pot of their signature hot & spicy lemongrass sauce inspired by the amazing Southeast Asia’s flavors, served with delicious fried-mantou! This dish left me speechless cause it was that finger licking good!!
This is not the end. The final main was the Cheesy Seafood baked with Corn Dodgers. The highlight of this dish was the surprise of generous chunks of air-flown Norwegian salmon embedded in the cheeseeeeeeee!!! and and there are Korean squids & grilled prawns served with the sides of fluffest corn dodgers.
Maybe this is the highlight of the dinner featuring @ryanlch 😛
Before I end this blog, be sure you check them out at Pavilion, Lot 1.18.02 starting from tomorrow 30th September 2017, Saturday!!! Ciao & TGIF!

Fashion Alert
I’ve been a fan of James Bay since 2014 because of the song, Hold Back the River and now Topman has launched an exclusive & limited 13-piece collection in collaboration with James Bay & it’s now available in stores and online.
This was at the launch preview of the Topman X James Bay and I was wearing the Black Embroided Varsity Jacket over a lovely lunch at Nero-Nero, Damansara City Mall.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
James Bay embraces his passion for skinny silhouettes with a classic rock ‘n’ roll aesthetic and injected his unique style into key pieces such as a paisley leather jacket, sequin bomber and printed t-shirts finished with his hand-drawn designs inspired from his love towards art and music.
Loving this Grey Embroided Acid Wash Sweatshirt the most as it’s hard to find a sweatshirt that fits me so well. It doesn’t make me look fat but fitter instead 😛
For the bottom I chose the Black Jeans with Taping that has embroidery on the side. Embroidery seems to rule the game now huh. Perfect skinny fit that still allows me to move around all day comfortably.
Apart from that, I’m gonna share with you my most favourite song by James Bay,

Hey guys! It’s been awhile and I’ve been going on a few trips recently which got me into a serious withdrawal now. Anyways, I’m back and gonna share with you one of the favourite places that I went 3 months ago.
It’s a very hidden private estate in Penang, called Malihom.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
This private estate was converted from a cluster of traditional Thai rice barns without ruining the nature of it. The name Malihom actually means ‘Village of the Fragrant Rice’ and each barn has its own name. Malihom provides 8 different types of barns for rental and each features individual character with ensuite & bathrooms on the deck level.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
The whole place was surreal. I never thought Penang would have such amazing place up on the hill away from town. Malihom provide your stays with their swimming pool, library with TV, DVD books and some board games as well as the restaurant.
It was an hour car ride from Georgetown to Balik Pulau. driving up the hill was a bit challenging as the road was steep & in the form of zig-zag. So be careful when you drive there!! Due to the challenging route up to the private estate, often people would just stay at the estate throughout the trip, but dinner can be quite expensive up there. So we decided to drive back down for FFOOODDD.

So, here’s what you can get in Balik Pulau. Going to Balik Pulau from the estate will take you about 10 minutes drive. They are famous with the (start from the left) Hakka noodle, Ice Kacang, brown sugar buns & the Asam laksa with coconut milk.

Another unique part of each of the barn is that some get to watch sunrise and some facing the sunset. Look at the beautiful city lights of Penang, that’s the view you can enjoy on the East side while West side gives you the view of the sea and a tiny island.
2D1N wasn’t quite enough for us but it was definitely a lovely & quiet place for everyone of us to spend a weekend or holiday at besides exploring the touristy parts of Penang island.
Here’s the link of Malihom’s official website.
Mali…Malihom Hey guys! It's been awhile and I've been going on a few trips recently which got me into a serious withdrawal now.
Here comes my favourite season of the year, hmm actually Malaysia has no other seasons except for Hot-like-shit kinda sun or pour-like-shit kinda rain. However, I love the sun, I love the beach and the sea. So I’ve gotten a few things to get myself prepared for Summer this year.
1. Pack light, Wear less

When you’re on a trip to the beach or any Summer vacation, pack light cause you would not want to carry huge heavy backpacks or luggage around and sweat like an idiot. Wear less means tank top or loose shirt and swim trunks will be your best friends!
2. Bold Swim Trunks
Yasss bold swim trunks are what represent Summer! Summer is all about colors so pick the right swimming trunks so you’re ready to dip into the pool or sea anytime.
I was wearing Timo Trunks – Edition Armory Red in the picture.
3. Go Floral or Printed
Zara

Asos
The floral is back and you can grab all of them easily from Topman, Zara, Pull & Bear or even Asos has so many collections! Printed shirt could do for a Summer vacation too! Tucking in an oversize floral shirt would bring you back to the 1950s!
4. Accessorize Yourself
Processed with VSCO with hb2 preset
Accessories are the key and bandana is back in trend now to either pair with a simple plain tee or shirt. Second would be shades. Apart from being the most important and perfect accessories, shades are so crucial in protecting your eyes from UV radiation (UV causes Cataract formation, Pterygium etc) so make sure you are using a pair or more that has proper UV protection! One right shades can make you 75% cooler as mentioned in the esquire.com. A stylish hat can work better than a sunscreen in blocking the sun too.

Spectacle String from Zara
The final accessories that I’m currently crazy with is the spectacle string from Zara! No it doesn’t make you look like an old man being scared of losing your glasses because of the awesome designs on the strings! They have all sorts of designs and colors and the best thing about it is that, true enough I would never lose my sunglasses by hanging them on my neck!:P
5. Sunscreen
Lastly, bring along your sunscreen whenever you go, you want a tan not a sun burn right;)
It’s a Smile, It’s a Kiss, It’s a Sip of Wine… It’s Summertime!!!
Tips to Dress for Summer? Here comes my favourite season of the year, hmm actually Malaysia has no other seasons except for Hot-like-shit kinda sun or pour-like-shit kinda rain.
Hey guys, how are y’all???
So today I’m gonna share something meaningful and hopefully could get your supports on this!
Have you heard of Dignity for Children Foundation?
Alright basically what Dignity For Children Foundation does is that it aims to empower underprivileged urban poor children to break the cycle of poverty through quality education, positively transforming their lives and the lives of the community around them.
This foundation has established high quality learning centres, implemented specialised learning environments to help children academically and socially.
It has been around for 17 years in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with only 20 students.
Hence, CutXDignity is an academic salon (brought up by the support from the owner of Othrs Barber, Lex and other authorities) that is in collaboration with the Dignity For Children Foundation in teaching the children additional skills in hair grooming and provide options for them in the society.

Apart from being a learning ground for the vulnerable children, CutXDignity is opened for public to get your hair cut! There will be a senior hairstylist, Bill, formerly worked in Toni & Guy as well as the students who are qualified enough to do the haircut for you. Trust me they are as good as the hairstylists you find elsewhere.
One thing touches me when I spent about 2 hours there was that they serve everyone with sincerity. Let’s put the skills aside, I bet you would never go back to the same stylist again if they are not treating you with respects right. This could be due to the unfortunate background that the children have and they really appreciate what they have been given and thought and yeah I started to sound like a grandma. ;p

Services provided at CutXDignity is like any other salon, you can cut your hair, dye your hair, wash your hair, perm or straightened your hair and MOST IMPORTANTLY all the earnings will be contributed to the Dignity For Children Foundation to fully support the children!
So, let’s do something great everyday with simple acts and you will never know what would come to you in return!

Amazing Deeds and Contribution from CutXDignity Hey guys, how are y'all??? So today I'm gonna share something meaningful and hopefully could get your supports on this!
It’s been awhile and sorry for being away but I’m back now! Ok what’s new from you lately? I have something pretty interesting to update with you, which was my recent trip with YTL, one of the property developers in Malaysia.
YTL owns tons of properties and many other kinds of businesses and we were invited to experience the services and stays at 4 of their hotels that were Hotel Stripes (Kuala Lumpur), Majestic Hotel Malacca (Malacca), Pangkor Laut Resort (Perak) & Majestic Hotel KL (Kuala Lumpur). Therefore I’m going to share with you what happened throughout the whole trip!

This place is located at the heart of KL where it connects the guests to the urban neighborhood, with some of the greatest local food, art galleries, shops and legendary landmarks such as the KL Tower. The modernized interior of the rooms with the local culture’s influence provide a very unique experience to the foreign guests and the familiarity to the local customers. The restaurants above are called Brasserie 25 & The Snug.
Brasserie 25 is a French-style restaurant that is perfect for lunches and informal dinners with the dishes that are inspired by fresh, locally produced ingredients.
The Snug is the perfect stop for a caffeine fix and where your breakfast buffet will be served.

Yes that is how the hotel looks like! Majestic Malacca has been running as a hotel since 1955 by a Chinese family and took over by YTL after. The huge vintage signage on the building has been there since then! How cool! Anyways, as far as I know, every corner in the building has never failed to amazed me. (Thanks @leeeeming for being the perfect model throughout the entire trip in Malacca)

Kristang cuisine was the highlight at the only restaurant in the hotel called The Mansion. It is also known as the Malacca-Portuguese cuisine which has heavy local influence, with the additions of stews and the inclusion of pork and seafood in the diet, and rice is the staple food.

Apart from that, spa is not what you would want to miss! Spa Village in Majestic Malacca offers different therapy according to each body type in terms of the body temperature. What they’ve arranged for me was the Shiok-Shiok Sejuk experience (cooling therapy) for my warm body type:
Yoghurt-Guava Leaves Body Scrub
Egg Rolling Body Therapy
Limau Kasturi-Yoghurt Hair Mask
Bird’s Nest Facial with Star Fruit Mask
Last but not least, Malacca Historical Walk allowed me to explore deeper into the Malacca culture with all the local businesses that have been running for decades.
3. Pangkor Laut Resort, Perak

Here comes the most exciting part of the trip which was Pangkor Laut Resort. I said most exciting simply because of how much I love the beach and sea as well as every part of nature! Checking into the resort had me ‘Wow’ so loud:P

Had the best spa experience so far at the Spa Village on the second day of my stay.
Pre-Treatment Bath House Ritual was given before the signature spa experience that was called Campur-Campur which means blending of varieties in Malay. Combining the best techniques of Malay and Thai massage. The scent of lemon grass and pandan leaves fills the air as steamed herbs are pressed along the body using a traditional steam pouch.

The next day we had a quick jungle trekking experience along the jungle trail and got well educated by the local guide on the differentiation of male and female Hornbill and lots of other knowledge about the nature. Lunch was at the Chapman’s Bar at Emerald Bay which is the exit of the jungle trail.

‘有一种感动,是来自手中的温度’ is what Hogan Bakery from Taiwan wants to portray. It means, ‘the warmth of the palms gives us a moving sensation’. Their main emphasis is to produce the healthiest breads every 4 hours without any adding eggs, oil, preservative and coloring in all the handmade dough. This is to ensure the originality of the breads stays and to educate us how a real bread should taste.
They started their first outlet back in Taiwan 9 years ago. They have gone through the struggle of people rejecting the texture and taste of their breads due to the unfamiliarity. Slowly they helped their customers in adapting to a healthier diet by selecting the right dough.
The triangular bread above the black baguette was the Champion bread called Lychee Rose Bread while below it was the squid ink baguette with squid balls inside.
Yes this log is huge, it’s called the Cheesy Jumbo which they only produce 1 per day that will be cut into 11 servings. The interesting part bout this bread is where you’ll find cheese cubes laying all over!!! RM10.90, a very reasonable price for a huge slice of it. Do take note that this will be out from the oven at 1pm everyday as it needs 5 hours of baking time. Sounds precious huh! Make sure you grab yours before they’re sold:)
There are currently 3 outlets in KL Malaysia,
6.25.A & 6.25.B.1, Level 6, Parkson, Pavilion Mall, 168, Jalan Bukit Bintang, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur 55100
11-21, Jalan Mesui, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.
S4, Sidewalk Island, Jalan Bukit Bintang, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur 50250

Denim Denim who doesn’t love Denim??!!
Added a new pair of washed black Taper Jeans from Topman Malaysia‘s latest collection into my closet yesterday. This is my first time trying out a Taper jeans which means a looser cut on the thighs and skinny on the lower legs. Unlike a complete skinny jeans, I felt so comfortable walking around running an event throughout the day yesterday.
