i had a really... honestly shit day yesterday. my hard drive failed, it has all my zine and art archives, all my archived materials, all my client files for work, all of everything. i sent it away to get a diagnostic, and shit scammer company #1 quoted me almost 4k. after scrubbing reddit I found a place in LA that will do it for around $500 and they aren't scammy like the vast majority of the piranha tech hell perverts out there exploiting desperate and scared people like myself. anyway. they think they can reasonably get 50% of my stuff back, with optimism that it will be more than that. its just a huge hit, and sending my life's work away to scammers in ohio who tried to extort 4k out of me for the same service just felt... like so bad i could barely believe it. anyway. my hard drive is heading back my way before is send it away again. I thought i was buying a regular as watermelon yesterday and it turned out to be yellow on the inisde and i was like omg am i having a stroke but this is the new fruit craze I guess haha. pairing it with another food pic, my parents at fred mayer when they were here to visit.
