Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1/2 cup whole milk. 2 large eggs. 1 1/2 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. Pinch of salt. Gold leaf sheets. Edible flowers for decoration.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full with the cupcake batter. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean. Allow the cupcakes to cool completely on a wire rack. Once cooled, carefully apply small pieces of gold leaf to the tops of the cupcakes for a touch of elegance. Decorate with edible flowers for a beautiful and natural look. Serve and enjoy your Naked Cake with Gold Leaf and Flowers Cupcakes!
