Long story short: I got fired a few days ago from my day job and replaced with someone with more experience. I took it in stride, grabbed my utensils and left.

I'm sure we all agree in real life terms that the hero is right. Cause it would be awful to sacrifice a planet ever if it's someone they love. And it's utterly horrific if someone literally destroys so many people for you.

I logically get the appeal, (devotion, sacrifice for love being seen as romantic, etc) but I have never been able to enjoy it much.

So many people want to be Brandon Sanderson, or Suzanne Collins, or any famous author. They want to be standing on stages and giving speeches about their hard work, having successful book releases and conventions and adoring fans of your characters and worlds. But they don't want to go through the growing pains. They want to skip the journey, the struggle and the uphill battle.

I'm not going to glaze myself, but I don't write and draw just because I want to get famous or rich. I simply love doing it. Storytelling is my passion, I think about my stories all the time. (Even recently thinking that I've hurt some of my relationships. No worries I am okay). To me, the growing pains IS the reward and if I happen to get on a stage one day, or get rich, or whatever the fuck thats just a bonus. But it just irks me. People who get these opportunities and do seem to care but they trip and stumble the whole way through for no reason other than ego and entitlement for what they think they should've gotten.

This is why I can't be an internet personality. And I just want to appear, drop a few books and arts, and then vanish into the night. I just want to share my characters and stories that I love and the stories that I would've loved as a child with others. Hate them or love them, I don't care as long as I could share these imperfect tales.
