Hey, I'm L or Fish (any pronouns, it/its). Part-time fish, part-time solo game dev for Interactive Fiction. This is just a side blog for me to yap and write about Path to Nowhere and other things, though it's mostly the former because it's unfortunately one of my largest hyperfixations. This isn't a dedicated writing blog, this is more of something out of pure fun. I might post some writings here and there when I feel like it and when I have free time from working on my writing projects.

Out of curiosity, what are Iron's, Anne's, Chameleon's, and Uni's opinions of each other? What would their relationship and dynamic be if they all worked in SALVA?
[Coughs at the amount of dust in here] I swear I was supposed to answer this ask a day after it came, but I, uhhhhhhhhh, procastinated. And busy with uni.๐ง

I think the four of them wouldn't have strong relations with each other, except Iron and Anne, because how can I forego the first iconic duo of early PtN. They're the other's ride or die since their early SALVA days. Chameleon would most likely meet Iron, Anne, and Uni later on in the MBCC, though I'd like to think they met at Banyan College, maybe sharing a few classes here and there.
Iron, Anne, and Uni could share the same anatomy class. Anne and Chameleon could also share the same abnormal psychology class. Or, hell, all of them could be in the same biochemistry class too. I'm sure neither of them would think much of each other, maybe seeing as the other just as another face and think nothing more of it.
But in the What-If SALVA scenario, Uni hates all of them. It's difficult for our favorite cosmetic surgeon to have relationships because of her whole demeanor and on anyone asymmetrical in the facial area, which is a lot of people including the aforementioned three Harmacists so she mostly stays in her own lane and rarely goes out of her way to interact with them. I'd like to think she worked at SALVA for a bit as a cosmetic surgeon to trauma patients, but eventually left because she got sick of the environment in West District as a whole and moved to Eastside to start her own cosmetic clinic for the Eastside elites.
We already know how Iron and Anne see each other, so I won't divulge into their dynamics. Iron thinks Chameleon's fine, at best, and thinks she does well as a therapist, and that's all that there is. Acquaintances at most, maybe. I don't think they interact that often since they're in differing departments (thus different hospital wings too). Anne thinks similarly, though would have met Chameleon a few times when she has to escort patients to Chameleon's office, but that would be it.
I'd hate to say that Chameleon would probably be in the same boat too. Acquaintances to the medical duo and a stranger to Uni. Not all departments mingle with each other I fear, unless you already have established friendships in them if you're from another department in the hospital.
For the MBCC it's probably very different too. Close proximity forces close relations. Well, as close as they can be. Since there's only one infirmary in the entire MBCC, I know in my heart Iron, Anne, and Chameleon would be friends since they work under the same room. Though moreso Anne and Chameleon, I have a feeling both would enjoy some gossip about staff and their patients. Some lighthearted things, never anything heavy, like noticing how an injured Eugene often comes into the infirmary, accompanied by a worried Wynn and whatever unspoken tension they have together. Iron wouldn't be enthused about it at all, because ethics and gossiping about patients shouldn't even be done to begin with, but even she can't help but listen in on the fresh tea Chameleon's telling Anne about.
Uni's a bit different, because, while, yes, she is in the MBCC, like I mentioned prior she does have difficulty making relationships and she doesn't seem really seem to mind it, according to her Sinner profile and Surveillance events. I think the only time she ever interacts with Iron, Anne, and/or Chameleon is when Uni is called into the infirmary to help do some facial or cosmetic restructuring on an injured FAC soldier(s), though even those cases are few and far between. Uni doesn't have any strong feelings towards Iron, Anne, and Chameleon. She'd likely think that Iron's face is a waste because of the long scar, Anne's is pretty but plain, and Chameleon's "gentle" eyes don't match the sharp features of her face.

If Coquelic woke up from her coma sooner than later, how would the rest of the current Garden sinners react upon seeing her?
And regarding Sumire and Garofano, how do you think they would respond after hearing Coquelic tried to assassinate the Chief in her interrogation?
Imma be frank when I say that I don't have Coquelic nor have I fully finished the RainUnfurl events to be able to answer this question properly.
Because 1) grandma never came home in my 50/50's, so I've never read her interrogation, and 2) I have been busy for a while (college actively choking me but not in a fun way) and never had the time to finish RainUnfurlโonly managed to get halfway into Rain Burst before stopping. ๐
Though I can try to answer for Sumire and Garofano, since I do have them and read their interrogations already. This is a first for me, now knowing that Coquelic tried to kill Chief. Unsurprised it's on sight (how many times has a Sinner tried to kill Chief in an interrogation), but grandma being grandma, I guess.
Anyway, I think, of course, both Sumire and Garofano will be displeased at this.
Sumire will try to get answers from Coquelic on why she did that, even be angry that her own master would do such a thing, then angry for herself for not being there to stop her master. She won't challenge Coquelic into a fight despite everything in her telling to do so, to avenge Chief on their behalf. Sumire knows she won't win even if she tried her hardest.
Garofano will be as equally upset, but she'll be quiet about it. Of course, she's angry at her master for trying to kill someone she deeply adores and considers as a part of her own 'family', but the other side of her, the part that comes with maturity and deep loyalty to Coquelic, can't help but think that maybe Coquelic has her reason as to why. Surely, there are reasons why her master did this, but the fact she didn't talk about it with Garofano deeply stings for the older woman.
I know people will say Demon because of how he looks, but brother just looks like that and doesn't act grumpy. He's stoic, and really gentle towards his fellow Sinners. Hell, Demolia messes with his shield all the time and Demon's just chill with it.
Perhaps I'm biased, but I have to say it's Lisa as the grumpiest, because have you seen her. Very sarcastic, always scowling, and her voicelines make her sound constantly annoyed with you, like Squidward from Spongebob. Her appearance in Night of Wonders cements that part of her personality. Girl's jaded, pretentious, even, but she tries to be nice despite her grouchy demeanor she often displays.
"What about Coquelic?"
Close second. She's a grouch, yes, but it's not as intense as what Lisa has. She's got that New Yorker kindness. Yeah, she'll cuss you out and call you stupid in a variety of ways, but she'll do it while helping you. Then scoff when you try to say your thanks to her.
What are Eirene's and Hypatia's opinions on Adelaide?
Probably hate him to death, but that would be too easy. It's maybe more complicated than just pure hate.
For Hypatia, it's probably mixed feelings. For one Adelaide is her greatest supporter and ally during her research on aurum secretum, when Hypatia was unaware of her brother's true intentions with her inventions and research. So, you can guess that she trusted him a lot, especially since the Campbell family is known to be really competitive, and Hypatia was never close with her older sister Eirene for that matter. I don't think we've gotten any information of them talking to each other yet. After Hypatia finds out Adelaide's true motives, you can already assume the immense betrayal and hurt from it. Because he was her supporter. He was someone she can consider as family, even though there was still a bit of distance between them. This was the first time someone in the family acknowledged her and it was all just snuffed outโan elaborate lie.
On the other hand, we have Eirene. I don't have her, so I can't base this off of extra info. However, I do know that she isn't close to her family either. She was forced to grow up early and she hated all of it, despite following the business minded approach her family were notorious for having. When word of her brother's shenanigans during the Expo came to her, I'd like to imagine that there is disgust. Not for Hypatia's behalf (that would come later), but moreso on him staining the Campbell name with him being a Sage of the Underground. Because while she doesn't usually care of the questionable things her family does, this one in particular struck a chord with her for some reason.
What is Uni's opinion on the Chief? (As a person. If they didn't have her sister's eyes)
Probably just consider Chief another pretty face. Perhaps regard it as something that's almost perfect. Though besides that, she'd regard Chief as someone unimportant.
What is Synex's opinion on the Chief? Does she see them as a friend, or as a chew toy(metaphorically)?
I always saw Synex see Chief as moreso a chew toy both metaphorically and literally. Still not over the fact that this woman bit Chief twice in her interroga[y]tion just to get the latter to use the shackles again (like how a dog would bite down on their toy again to hear it squeak), because the shackles "feel good", according to Synex. I don't want to know what degree of "feel good" the lizard is talking about and it could either be because pain is something she'd known all her life in Fraser and finds it comforting and familiar. Or, you know, a kink thing.
But back to Synex seeing Chief as a chew toy. It's not really just that, but moreso as her new "master", an owner holding their feral dog's leash and waiting to be released when time needs be. She called Chief 'master' once the shackles were applied to her, and she has made leashed dog metaphors before during her event too. I don't think they'll be friends, and it's mostly because of this view of relationships Synex has, that it's contractual, and that she only took interest in Chief because of Hella threatening Synex with Chief's name and also unintentionally hyping them up because daughter wouldn't stop bragging about how cool and strong their parent is.

Man, kinda hard to pick since most of the Sinners are some flavor of fruity, but I do have some ace/aro-spec headcanons for a few!
Yugu - Screams aroflux to me. She's all in for the physical intimacy for her yuri smut research, but she never really screamed as someone who'd stay and be [fully] committed to someone.
Levy - Aroace asshole king. The only man he'll ever love is himself. Need I say more.
Hecate - Mmm daughter I dub thee asexual demiromantic. Seeing how long it took for her to fully warm up to Hella and fellow Sinners her age, why won't it be the same for her future partner?
L.L. - Demisexual. Oh my twin, I know this woman gay and trans as fuck, but she's also a YEARNER. She yearns for love, for romance, and for physical touch so bad.
Lisa - MY DIVAAAAAA MY DEMISEXUAL DEMIROMANTIC QUEEEEEN. She may not yearn as hard as L.L., but boy does this woman go for the slowest burn either way. It takes a while for her warm up to others, and she has a small handful of Sinners she gets along with for a reason.
Demolia - Aroace. Girl looks so happy to be surrounded with so many friends and never seems to be the type who'd go out and look for a lover, and honestly? Good for her. Her and Demon are the bestest of friends.
Demon - Speaking of the devil himself, Demon's also aroace. He looks content living the single life and already shows his love by protecting those he cares for however he can.
Adela - Aroace. More of a caregiver than a lover energy for me, and is content with just being someone people can lean and rely on when the time calls for it.
Although not going by the term "asexual" yet, asexuality was spoken about alongside homosexuality as far back as the 1890s. Asexual history is just as vital to queer history as any other term and I'm so tired of watching us being treated like a new thing
