i'm one of the people who absolutely think loumand's dynamic is unhealthy from both sides, but if the writer's wanted the "apology" scene to come off the way they meant it (which is apparently that louis really did owe him an apology) maybe they shouldn't have gone out their way to make armand actually abusive to louis...like they added that...in the book louis absolutely knew armand was responsible for claudia's death the whole time, armand didn't even have the power to remove memories, and their breakup is armand leaving louis because his depression bummed him out...like tony you chose

and none of these critiscms matter. not really. it's the racism i can't get over and i dont know what i'm supposed to do wrt this show going forwards after that

rolin jones was so "oh none of the screeners know armand's arc because they haven't seen the final episode!" but revealing his arc in the last episode only works if all his actions make sense in hindsight. but multiple things CONTRADICT where his arc ends up in the last episode. why kill larry? why release the revenge porn? why tell daniel you love him and have been stalking him? if your end goal the whole time has apparently been "fuck with louis". i've said it multiple times already but i would literally love unfairly vengeful armand under other circumstances. i think all of it (except hiring regina) Is pretty much in character...but not with the character he's been This season. i can understand him being so desperate for someone to hear him out and understand him...if there hadn't been the dm confession this season. if armand still thought daniel hated him. they all love eachother forever obviously but don't start another relationship in your tv show (at least not the one you want to spend the next two seasons focusing on as well as loustat) before resolving an old one, or at least show us this new relationship and why that need is still there despite it.
