Constant Craving
Leon never craved demon blood. Never. He intentionally avoided it, knowing it was often addictive and dealers didn't partake in that shit... No, it was expensive and made him a pretty penny-- especially with younger vampires who made the mistake of trying it, only to develop a strong preference soon after. And Leon loved money far, far more than blood.
So when he found himself craving demon blood, he didn't quite recognize the craving even at first.. Until he sampled a bit of damn near everything-- with the exception of deity blood, and was hit with the realization. Odd. Mildly unsettling, if he was honest-- but he chalked it up to the stress he'd encountered since returning, and poured a glass from the syndicate's reserves.
Nothing. He drank and drank and why it felt mildly soothing, he still craved. It was damn maddening because he still wanted demon blood, but realized he wanted specifically fallen blood, as he drank further from the stockpile. Ah. Relief.
The itch was gone.
And then it was back.
Stronger.
He wanted more-- but realistically, Leon knew he couldn't keep drinking. No-- it was an expensive waste, and nothing made sense. He had never craved demon blood like this, nor tasted much of a difference prior as to the specific type. He thought of the one fallen he knew fairly well as his nails dug into the arm of the chair where the vampire sat.
Matthew.
Fucking Matthew Alexander. This was all his fault. And just like that, the cravings changed.
Leon didn't just want the blood of a fallen deity. No, he craved Matthew's. The craving went on for days before he cracked, showing up at Liber and refusing to leave until he had an audience with the demon, presuming Matthew surely had something to do with it all... And if not, then he would at very least make a meal of the council member and be able to say good riddance to the craving he had been cursed with.
