30th SEA Games 2019 in the books. Congrats to our Bronze medalists @madweeks @sukuuyap @l.hongyeow and coach @artemkotov0702 on our podium finishers. It's an honour to be part of this squad @limzixyan @eddykhidzer @firdhausng @alvinakarashi Thanks go our to all those who have supported us behind the scenes. Our @sg_wrestling staff Gabriel Huang and Yong Sing. All the training partners that helped get my ready for this day, @hiddy_fn_bessinderwerl @scottwilson.000 @zotan.louie @amirkhanmma @timmyly My dearest wife @sveachristinkong and family for supporting me in this endeavour and never complaining about the hours sacrificed to make it a reality. My ever supportive colleagues @certis, I can't thank you enough for the overwhelming support. I was treated to a surprise send off at the airport and thought of all the support back home all of today. I came ever so close to clinching a medal, winning one match and loosing two. Fought my absolute heart out and have no regrets. Winning my final bout is forever etched in my memory. Ever since I started wrestling close to 10 years ago, when the federation was just founded, it has been my dream to represent the nation at the SEA Games. To finally realise this has been amazing and a rewarding experience in itself. After today I will retire from competitive wrestling. Wrestling has taught me so many great life lessons and given me such wonderful opportunities I will still continue to contribute to developing the sport in Singapore and hope that our future generations of young up and coming wrestlers will take up the chase for more in the years to come. For now it's off to take a much needed break and to spending more time with my family and love ones.
