old fandoms that are still active/semi-active are actually the best fandoms tbh. like nowadays a show will come out and fandom will move on from it after six months but those shows with dedicated fanbases even though they ended a decade ago... those will never disappoint.
I’ve been doing some Internet Archive searching for old fanfic and discovered an archived copy of the Sam/Jack NC17 Archive (originally created to host stories from a Yahoo group). It’s so fun exploring older websites.
Not all the links work, but I made a spreadsheet of the working story links so it’s easier for everyone to check out the stories that are still available!
