Barbatos who literally have to take care of him for the rest of his life, only for him to only like his cooking and nothing else:

- ray is used to being alert because of goldy pond so at the beginning of their relationship, he’d always get defensive/flinch/etc whenever norman initiated physical contact/affection

- ray and norman would nonchalantly kiss each other and be like “we’re just friends 👍”

- ray watches “little kid” shows because it gives him a sense of the childhood he never got

- norman’s a sappy romantic, so he takes ray out on surprise dates. sometimes they’re fancy, but mostly he just likes taking him somewhere private to just dance under the moonlight together

- ray is russian and norman is german. norman loves showing ray his traditions

- they both have their favorite types of kisses. ray likes neck, freckle, scar and burn kisses; norman enjoys having his hands and head kissed every so often. he relishes in the romantic feeling of having his hand kissed

- ray doesn’t love pda as much as norman, because he gets embarrassed by it. norman absolutely adores it and just loves showing off his favorite person

- they read to each other, just like taking turns each line and soaking in the comfort of the other. (+ ray has dyslexia so norman is able to help him pronounce/figure out words)

- during arguments, ray refrains from getting physical (pushing norman against the wall), because he doesn’t want to hurt him. it’s one of the only responses he knows would work during fights. norman on the other hand, uses his height

- after fights, ray feels guilty but he’s still mad at norman. he’ll start ignoring him, mostly for the fact that he’s afraid that now, after getting into an argument, norman hates him and is going to leave him. despite being angry as well, norman tries to resolve everything

- ray steals norman’s sweatshirts, which are already oversized on norman; so they’re crazy big on ray’s tiny self

- whenever norman is overworking himself, ray just picks him up and takes him to bed so he can actually get some sleep

- norman searched up “names to call ur russian boyfriend” and immediately loved кошка (cat)

- surprisingly, ray is more clingy

- norman finds it adorable whenever ray goes onto his tiptoes to give him a kiss

- whenever they’re legible and in the human world, they adopt chris (bonus (german): on the first day of school he gets a schultüte from them, which is filled candy and toys. he decorates it during the school day and then opens it up)

- norman makes oreo truffles

- when searching for emma, they became closer and eventually started dating in secret. a few years after finding her, emma accidentally figures out that they’re together by catching them kissing, cuddling, etc
