Now that was a president who loved this country and actually cared about the people here. all the people. That was a president too be proud of.

I miss them so much. I miss having an actual president.

She is literally one of the most beautiful women I’ve seen. This breaks my heart ;-; 💜

I really encourage you, and others, to go watch the interview because, while Lupita did get emotional, the conversation was more about being allowed to feel and about allowing dark skinned women to have duality when it comes to colorism. Not to pigeon hole them into either being bitter or happy, to allow them that duel nature of thriving while still being human and still dealing with colorism. It’s a fantastic interview and I highly reccomend it.
