Something they don’t tell you when you lose someone, the first birthday without them will fill like an empty hole. You dread the day coming because they wont be here to help you celebrate. My dad was always one of the first people to tell me happy birthday, last year he didnt stay up until midnight because all the medication he was on for his cancer made him tired. This year i wont get it all from him. My heart is so shattered thinking about how there will be one person to give a hug to on my birthday. Part of me wants it to never come so i dont have to hate my birthday. With my dad gone this day will never be the same for me.

Hey everyone, I need to talk about this because it's really important
As some of you know, I took a break from tumblr like roughly a few days ago
And I was gonna come back to this site on Monday, but something extremely bad happened recently.
Today, the US and Israel launched a joint attack on Iran by sending missiles to the country and causing significant damage.
It's possible that both countries are planning to target areas that are near my region (plus many other countries), so me and my family are preparing in the event that we have to evacuate.
To anyone who is/was near the sites where the attacks were launched, I advise you all to do the same and perpare, because the future of this entire ordeal is uncertain as of right now.
To all of my online friends, I'm sorry I had to return with such bad news, but I just wanted you all to know that right now I'm currently safe and will continue to be offline due to this horrific on-going event.
Thank you for reading. I'll see you guys when things are more safer.
Came back to put a correction on this but the threats that are currently posing risks to my region and other regions nearby is due to Iran responding to the joint attacks. It is not a result of the US and Israel planning other attacks.

It's so weird to me that blocking has turned into such a serious thing only reserved for if someone did something wrong. I witnessed some discourse a few months ago around some content creator blocking someone and it blew up. They were harassed for "blocking someone for no reason". And I was like ??? cause there was a reason. They simply didn't want to see the blocked person's posts.
Blocking does not have to be some big gesture. I block people for being assholes but I'm also willing to block someone for giving a dumb take about my fav character. I've blocked people because I was tired of seeing their posts in a tag I'm browsing. I've blocked people who had opinions I agreed with but they were an ass about it. I've blocked people simply because I didn't like their personality or the vibe they gave off.
It's not that deep. You don't have to save blocking for "bad" people. If it brings you peace then do it. I promise you that you'll enjoy your internet experience much more if you block instead of engaging with the thing that's upsetting you.
