The way Albus talks about Gellert VS The way Gellert talks about Albus :')

So this one might sound like I'm talking shit about Gellert, or like I'm saying that he doesn't love Albus. BUT IT'S NOT LIKE THAT I PROMISE XD

First we have the way Gellert talks about Albus/ talks to Albus. I feel like he doesn't actually mean all the things he says, and is just trying to put on a show. I think he just has a really hard time showing that he's vulnerable.

In Crimes of Grindelwald:

"If I asked you now to go to the school where he is hiding and kill him for me, would you do it for me, Krall?"

"Sometimes I imagine I still feel it [the blood troth] around my neck. I carried it for so many years. How does it feel around yours?"

(In a lowkey threatening tone, because he probably knew that Albus was getting straight up tortured by that thing.💀)

"With or without you I will burn down their world Albus. There is nothing you can do to stop me."

Vinda: "And you're sure that he [Credence] can kill Dumbledore?"

Gellert: "His pain is his power."

"Who will love you now Dumbledore?"

"Come, we can talk some more about our mutual friend, Dumbledore" (in a disgusted tone, hoes mad)

And now we have the way Albus talks about Gellert (prepare to cry):

"Oh we were closer than brothers."

Travers: "Will you fight him?"

Albus: "I can't"

(pookie sounded super sad😭)

He isn't speaking here, BUT HIS SAD CHUCKLE WHEN HE SEES HIMSELF WITH GELLERT!😭

Theseus: "Can I ask what would posess you to make such a thing [blood pact]"

Albus: "Love."

Albus: "We were young. We were going to transform the world"

"Because I was in love with you."

"The summer Gellert and I fell in love."

This one pops up in my head from time to time and I always just have the urge to crawl into a corner and cry uncontrollably...💀😭

It's the fact that the last thing Gellert did, was to sacrifice his life for Albus. :')

And the saddest part is that the last thing Gellert thought of was probably Albus. And I'm sure he also thought that Albus' grave was safe from being broken into by Voldemort, but he still got to it at some point. So he basically sacrificed himself for nothing. 🥲

I'm also pretty sure that Gellert was the last thing Albus thought of as well. Because a few minutes before his death he said to Draco: "Years ago, I knew a boy, who made all the wrong choices."

The way Albus' and Gellert's interactions and their relationship are described in the screenplays of FB2 and FB3:

"DUMBLEDORE is looking at the pictures. These memories are agony. He is full of remorse but, almost worse: nostalgia for the only time in his life he felt fully understood."

LIKE OMG😭 Albus had so many people he was close to in his life. Like his parents and siblings, Newt, Nicholas Flamel and especially Elphias literally his closest friend. But it's GELLERT that was the only person that made Albus feel fully understood. And they only knew each other for like two months too. They must've been so crazy in love. :')

Sadly I don't have the screenplay of FB2 in english. But I also remember that in the scene where Newt gives Albus the blood pact vial back and asks him if he can destroy it, Albus is close to tears. Which wasn't in the movie. 😭

The next one makes me so sad but also so angry, because they changed that scene in the movie:

THEY LITERALLY GENTLY PUT THEIR HANDS ON EACH OTHERS HEARTS. NOT JUST BY ACCIDENT, BUT ON PURPOSE!!😭💔 ALSO GELLERT BEING HEARTBROKEN...I CAN'T 😭

THE FACT THAT GELLERT KEPT THE TIE HE WORE WHEN HE AND ALBUS MADE THE BLOOD PACT. 😭

And also the fact that he always wore it during special events like the escape from the MACUSA, his date (👀) with Albus and the walk of the Qilin. He's still so in love istg.

ALSO IT'S STILL SO FUNNY TO ME THAT HE JUST PULLED UP TO THAT RESTAURANT, WEARING THE TIE LIKE: "LOOK ALBUS I'M WEARING THE TIE THAT I WORE BACK THEN, SEE?! :D"
