I wish I was allowed to discuss the sexual violence I’ve experienced from other trans women without everyone getting hitlerish about it
We’re Building the Green Pages.
Han and I are putting together a Green Pages–style directory for trans people across major U.S. cities.
The goal is simple: as more trans people are forced to move, flee, relocate, or start over, we need more than vague advice and “move to a blue city” hand-waving. We need real information. Which cities are actually survivable. Which towns have enough population, infrastructure, and community to make a new life possible. Which businesses are safe. Which clinics, bookstores, bars, cafés, mutual aid groups, salons, shelters, community spaces, and local networks are worth knowing about before someone arrives with two bags and a nervous system held together by spite.
We are currently gathering resources for major U.S. cities and surrounding towns.
If you have solid information about your city, your region, or a place you have lived, send it our way. We will be organizing, checking, and cataloging it as carefully as possible.
We are going to need each other, and I would rather build the map before more people are forced onto the road with no idea where the hell they are supposed to land. I’ve been there before.
For people asking what the original green book was:
The Negro Motorist Green Book was a travel directory created by Victor Hugo Green, a Black postal worker from Harlem. It was first published in 1936 and ran for roughly three decades, during the era of Jim Crow segregation. Its purpose was to help Black travelers find places that would actually serve them safely: hotels, boarding houses, restaurants, taverns, service stations, beauty salons, nightclubs, and other businesses across the country.
The Green Pages takes its name from the legacy of The Negro Motorist Green Book, the Jim Crow-era travel directory Black Americans used to find safe businesses, hotels, restaurants, service stations, and communities while moving through a country that made their mobility dangerous. It was not a lifestyle guide. It was survival infrastructure.
I’d be embarrassed if my biggest claim to fame was writing a critique of someone 10 years younger than me and having to reblog it every couple weeks instead of just engaging with her like a grown up but that’s just me
Thinking about how I joined a trans feminist discord server and they interrogated me for “looking cis”
😭
I think i'm taking a break from meeting transfeminists in discord servers or big signal group chats.....
Maybe for 2+ years

this is huge… a three chair event
Anytime i see a bunch of pride flags i have to restrain myself from saying "where mexico" bc i doubt anyone will know I'm referencing this
picture i got at pride last week; here mexico
This is very dumb but hey
“We gotta make sure those…black and Hispanic trans women don’t…hog all the attention. What are we protecting the dolls from? I don’t know? I hate racialized trans women too much to consider.”
What's your opinion on TMA/TME language and the existence of transandrophobia?
i'm a transfeminist. Assume what u will. I don't baby men who play dumb about the point of feminism. That includes trans men and men-aligned enby's! 😋

Cute little rainbow heart for pride month tumblr but how about you stop disproportionally banning trans women and marking sfw queer posts as mature
Boston Pride Night
unconventional queers i love you!! people in alterous relationships and queerplatonic relationships i love you!! xenogender and neopronoun users i love you!! intersex and nonbinary people who still don’t feel accepted in the community i love you!! contradictory label users like lesboys and mspec gays i love you!! people who are queer due to polyamory, afamilial or aplatonicness, or something else i welcome you!! no gatekeeping this pride month
I am so glad that I live in a world with trans women and trans men and nonbinary people and intersex people. Things are hard for all of us right now, but I love you all and I am wishing that things get better and easier for all of us! ❤️
just found you on tumblr; i thought you might enjoy the fact that i cited you as a source for my final essay on how children are effectively the property of their parents and the transient possessions of their teachers and shift managers for my sophomore year english class lmfao
HOLY FUCK thats cool, thanks for letting me know. hope your teacher was chill
