Man, after turning Ollie into the Prototype, this motherfucker was like, “We could still be a family.” Wtf. There’s theories out there that Ollie was supposed to be a jack-in-the-box. Well, if that were the case….

His sense of love is so warped and twisted from his grief he had the gall to still try calling Ollie “his boy,” as if he hadn’t used Ollie as a sacrificial lamb. That everything he did to Ollie is alright because his daughter is back. Poppy’s only option during the chapters was to RUN and get help from the Player. Clearly, Ludwig designed her to continue being his “sweet precious daughter” for eternity. He never gave her the option to become her own person.

Even the snake thst strangled Wu Suwei (tho not as clearly white) was an Albino. But due to the fact that he has found his light, his white again in Suwei, he’s not dependent on the snakes anymore, hence why he was ready to kill it in order to save the actual light of his live. The snakes, tho undoubtedly a huge part in his live, always acted as a stand-in or a display of his biggest desire.

My reaction reading this:

I know what post you're writing about but I always just took the snake killing scene as Chi Cheng finally bury his past relationship with Wang Shuo since Yellow Dragon was the snake he gave him.

He had to make the decision to kill the last thing that reminded him of Wang Shuo in order to start fresh with Wu Suo Wei.

But now that you mention it, Wang Shuo was light, and his snake is lighter compared to Chi Cheng's snake, Green-Eyed Monster, so the snake is Wang Shuo.

Just not a reminder of their relationship but an actual representation of Wang Shuo since multiple times Chi Cheng and Cheng Yu called Wang Shuo a snake.

So killing Yellow Dragon just isn't killing the snake but like Blackpink said, it's killing the love.

Wang Shuo's poisonous and suffocating love.

And the only reason Chi Cheng can actually kill Yellow Dragon, who is an extension of Wang Shuo, is because he found another light in his darkness.

So what you are writing is that Chi Cheng, in all his darkness, always sought out and clung to the light be it Wang Shuo, Wu Suo Wei, or Yellow Dragon because he has a type and the snake perfectly fed into it.
