man with 7 (8) world championships and 7 constructors is brought in to a team that hasn’t won the championship since 2007. team starts listening to his experience and things start going really well for him. team is quoted by his teammate as working the hardest they’ve ever worked with an entirely new energy. teammate decides not to follow the same direction, which is teammates prerogative, has a miserable time. and all of this in your eyes screams favouritism? you will never get anywhere if you keep stifling change and innovation like this
