TracFone Wireless StaySafe Bonus Pack & store displays. Designed to appeal to the senior community specifically advertised and endorsed by AARP. The focus was on simplicity, easy-to-read icons and outlining exactly what was included the box. No surprises.
TracFone Wireless new branding exploration. Giving us only a week to present new concepts, I designed these to appeal more to a varied demographic (budgeting-50-year-old-women, as well as first time smartphone(rs) like pre-teens/teens). As you can imagine, appealing to both demographics is a feat, but essentially the designs focused on âfriendly approachability,â âease,â âsimplicityâ and the necessity of the smartphone to capture âMoments that Matterâ such as family interactions.
TracFone Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pallet POP Store Display. Following the elements from the TMNT style guide and adding my own grunge effects/callouts, these two different design campaigns for LG and Samsung Smartphones were created to appeal to pre-teens/teens and their parents looking for a beginner smartphone for their children. I also created the âTurtle Powerâ logo to excite kids and consistently appear on all Samsung items. These displays appeared in Target and Walmart.
NET10 Wireless magazine ad for Game Informer magazine, retail store Game Stop's publication. I concepted this design to fit right in with the illustrative, fantastical, graphic-heavy nature of this gaming magazine as well as to appeal to the diverse male video-gamer audience. Many images were extensively photoshopped together to create the final image. Game Stop also used resized deviations of the art for store displays both inside and outside of the store.
Energems - Great Tasting Energy poster & advertisement. I created this poster to be later used as a window cling or ads in the campaign. Since the product targets 60% female I used a powerful image of a female with energetic, high-contrast color treatments to catch the consumer's eye.

Energems - Great Tasting Energy - Made with Real Milk Chocolate, 3-tier counter display design as well as 12-ct. box packaging designs. I updated the look of the Energems counter display and point of sale materials as well to include energetic colors, and easy-to-read icons and typography. Iâm accustomed to drawing and utilizing package dielines. Also, familiar working with UPCs, supplement & nutrition facts and other FDA specifications. I also directed the photoshoots for the candy âgemsâ as well as the packaging and displays. These were also extensively photoshopped by yours truly â me.
Tradeshow booth and environmental design for ENERGEMS⢠â Great Tasting Energyâ˘. This great tasting milk chocolate gem is full of vitamins and energy for those on the go. This booth was designed focusing on the female target audience and consumer of this product. In research studies, women enjoy energy products but dislike the taste of pills and energy shots. Thus, the colors and energy are female based. This was an initial concept designed and art directed by myself independently.
Concept direction and poster designs for White Castle. Inspired by "old west" style typography, this campaign concept and "old west" design for the new White Castle BBQ sliders was self-concepted and art directed. The original concepts I designed were followed through by other designers on all White Castle materials including placemats, store posters and direct mailers. Seen here is a light pole banner, in-store poster and an upsell wing for drive-thru placement. I also designed the special initial type letters with significant changes to the existing font.
Magazine ad for the new BurgerBar by Chef Allen. This ad was made prior to the opening of BurgerBar in West Palm Beach. The âBarâ was looking for solid branding but also looking for teaser ads, yet no product shots or venue photos were available. Using the idea that the decor was to be retro diner meets antique, as well as a high-end burger joint but still a welcome one, this was my creation of the way to say a "burger bar unlike any other," toppling with energy and the appropriate feel of the Bar to come. This teaser was used in event brochures, local mini-magazines and New Times Magazine. Visit BurgerBar.
Augur Milling Company. Designed for a maize milling company in Malawi, Africa, I decided to keep a rustic and African look to the font while representing the company's professionalism in the elegant design. The maize miller in Malawi, is where women are often seen carrying milled corn upon their heads. Just in case you ask just what is in those baskets above their heads, I drew a representation of the corn which marries all elements together. This logo was done in a charitable, voluntary effort.

CD insert for Brianna Moles. Designed for aspiring singer Brianna Moles, also known as Brea Ferrar. The scrapbook/diary-like motif and earthy colors emulate Briannaâs spiritedness and reflects the intimate personality of this self-written album. Brianna received a production deal after handing out copies of this demo album and has been making music ever since.
Admiral Magazine Fall Preview Edition. This layout was created for a preview of the Admiral Magazine's layout and branding. As a luxury lifestyle magazine, I chose classic and bold colors and elegant typography. All branding, color choices, photography choices, for-placement-only advertisement layouts and copy, select copy and article headlines were created, directed and edited by myself.
