One of the more elusive โabyssalsโ and occupy a similar level of niche to the lobsters#They prefer so much more anonymity though. I sort of keep characterizing them in my mind as these meditative hunter types#Kind of fiddling with the idea that sometimes they molt into people to spend a period living on/maybe hunting on land#Like you can choose to stay as a human but after enough โmoltsโ go by the memory of your shrimp life passes from your mind#Princess Kaguya and the Last Unicorn and Wolf Children dancing around in their characterization to be completely honest#Also in my story there's this church that's being sunken in by the sea. It's moved up several times but the ocean always meets it#So there's some ruins around of older versions of the church (where certain beings like to dwell in the moonlight...)#Oh yeah I also painted this in live for LBX 2025 for the XP-PEN booth!
