5 Ways to Make a Sustainable Morning Routine
1. Alternate days you practice certain rituals. For instance, Monday and Wednesdays you go out for breakfast. Tuesdays and Fridays are when you eat at home!
2. Don’t push yourself to wake up too early. If you want to get out of bed at 8:30am and you usually get up at 1pm, start waking up at 11 because 8:30 will be a shock so you’ll be more likely to climb back into bed.
3. Go to bed before midnight. Your morning routine begins the night before. Prepare for your day by pressing your clothing and practicing your skin routine.
4. Have an itinerary made. When you have an itinerary made, you will be less likely to stay in bed and more likely to stick to your game plan!
5. Look for a reason to have an enjoyable day. If you constantly dread tomorrow, you’ll want to prolong today as much as possible. When you have a reason to have an enjoyable tomorrow, you’ll be able to look back and see what you’ve went through as a phase. Every day doesn’t have to be the same and your yesterdays don’t have to be depressing or boring, just by your perspective.
