Egos Fried Egg Strategy

There are 2 possibilities at play here. 1, Subtitle Edit's OCR is a piece of shit. 2, my tech illiterate ass is too tense to figure it out. Either way I greatly appreciate your trying to help me all the same.

I've only heard of/been using Aegisub so hearing about this Subtitle Edit thing & its OCR feature got me like (shaking eyes emoji), thank you I owe you my life forever.

There have been many instances where I've seen shows with subs that could really benefit from a scrubbing, like say, Mirrorman for instance, but they're hardsub only. Why oh why oh why oh WHY are they hardsub only?! MANUAL timing is a hell I would only wish upon my least favorite politician!

I got nothing against Toei Spider-Man, but the fact that they adapted Spidey's costume, basic power set and... basically nothing else & tacked them onto an otherwise bog-standard 70's Toei toku, it inevitably makes one ponder why they even bothered.

The Japanese word for autism, "自閉症", literally means "self-closed disorder", & it's crazy how often it's insensitively & inaccurately thrown around in fiction. I think alot of the time they take the Japanese meaning of the word too literally & use it to refer to people being neurotic or closed-off in a general sense.
