Cosmic horror story about the protagonist being driven mad by having forbidden knowledge seared into their mind in which it gradually becomes clear that the protagonist is a housecat and the terrible gnosis that renders even their most familiar intimacies alien to them is the ability to do first grade math.

They have difficulty functioning in their daily life because they're constantly seeing maddening patterns beyond mundane perception, but those patterns are merely the product of being able to count higher than three. All forgetting to eat as they obsessively count the pieces of dry kibble in their bowl.

These guys would be the biggest hit at any Renaissance fair they went to.

If you said nothing about the tens of thousands of people the Islamic Republic massacred last month but suddenly care about Iranian lives now that this occupying regime is under attack, your so-called concern is actually performative. It was never about humanity and dignity for you; it's about ideology, and in this case, your ideology has driven you to the side of dictators and terrorists.

There are also several important topics that I still need to discuss on here and help raise awareness about. Since I'm writing these posts very quickly, they might not be very well-written, but they still are factual and deal with important aspects in fighting for Iran's liberation.

I go to youtube. Cute animal videos are AI now. I go to instagram. There are AI influencers. I go to spotify. It's flooded with AI bands and music. I go to ebay. Every product is AI. I open netflix. Every movie has AI. I watch TV. All commercials are AI. I cancel all my suscriptions. The customer support is AI. I buy a book. It is written by AI. I talk to my friends. They tell me that AI is their new therapist. I take the subway. Some dude is talking to his AI girlfriend next to me. I go to the beach. The sunset is real. I take a pic and upload it. The photo is enhanced with AI. You can't opt out.

What no one warned me about when I got into Discworld is that Terry Pratchett would completely ruin all my future footnote experiences. Now, whenever I read a book (even if it is an academic text!!) and see a superscripted number, my monkey brain makes my eyes drop to the bottom of the page asap, expecting a funny, poignant, memorable, and potentially life-altering little treat, and instead I get hit every time with the soul-crushing disappointment of McFarthy, G. et al. (1997)
