Endurance racing has suddenly been framed around Max ever since he chose to participate, and that feels deeply disrespectful imho, not just to the other drivers, but to the sport itself. Endurance racing already stands on its own. Events like Le Mans are among the most prestigious and widely recognized in motorsport. Promoting his involvement to attract more attention is understandable, but portraying it as his race crosses a line. And using his name in a way that overshadows or diminishes something as serious as a driver’s death is completely unacceptable.
