Kurapika is the character of all time. He is bilingual. He brought a shovel to a death match and put it to good use by the end. He used to correct people's grammar when he was a little kid. Most people assume he is a girl when he is introduced. He went from "I wanna talk to the manager" to "I am the manager" after one week on the job. His clan was massacred and had their eyes sold in the black market for their unique shade of red, he is the sole survivor. He devoted his life for revenge and for collecting the eyes of his fallen brethen. He reads a lot. Making friends outside his dead clan wasn't on his plans but wow does he cheerish them a lot. He was smart enough to realized the examiner of a cooking challange wasn't trying anyone's meals because they didn't even look like proper dishes, but dumb enough to believe "the taste of the food is meaningless" in a cooking test. The act of killing, and the realization the group responsables for his clan's massacre are capable of being human left him so sick he had to put a pause on his revenge plans. He goes against his moral code on the daily and surround himself with people that he hates to achieve his goals. He can detect lies. He is slowly losing himself and his design reflects that (he start using dark contact lenses to hide his eyes, ditch his tribal clothing for a generic black suit). His powerup drains his lifespam and he uses it a lot. The only time he smiles is with his friends. He never pick up any of his friend's calls cause he can't afford to be content and lose focus of his goal.
