I’ve been busy with college, it’s going really well & I’m enjoying it very much!

I am being assessed for more issues/conditions (it’s always me 🤦‍♀️😂) & hoping to get some answers soon…

I have a boyfriend now (it’s my best friend from college and he’s the best, he’s so sweet, funny, kind and he just gets me + I get him which is great!!)

How’s it going?

On the way to my first cardiology appointment of the year, nervous as always! Hoping to get good results I’m always paranoid especially since the pandemic when I got dangerously unwell and have now spent every day since then having to monitor myself closer than before (it’s always me 🤦‍♀️🤣). Can’t remember what they’re doing to me today (I always forget what’s happening out of stress and fear!) Hope everyone’s well - Ana ❤️

Just finished in the hospital! I’ve had my height, weight, vitals etc. Then had an echo and to finish I’ve had a 24hour heart monitor attached to me, joy (not 🤣)! It’s annoying to sleep in, you can’t shower or bath when it’s on, the stickers always give me a rash/allergic reaction, etc. At least I’ve only got to wear it for 24hours cause I’ve had some be on for 48hours+ in the past!! Going to get a takeaway and go home to watch TV & hopefully sleep!

The weather is shit! Rainy, stormy, freezing cold, etc! As if I wasn’t miserable enough the weather has decided to match my mood (🤣)

Oh and I’ve spent the last 8-9 days dealing with an ear infection, the usual dose of chronic headaches and other aches/pains + a blocked nose so bad I couldn’t breathe properly or sleep properly (already can’t do either). Then I topped it off by falling in the bath making me dizzy, giving me the worst headache in a while and or course covering me in bruises! 🤦‍♀️

Yesterday was my first day back at college (missed the first two days last week cause I was freshly unwell & still adjusting to the time difference) I was worried after being off for the longest amount of time so far but settled in the end and was nice to see my friends and teachers again! 😊

Been home 2 hours now, had a nice takeaway dinner and now in my pj’s watching TV. Trying to stay awake as long as possible so i’ll be tired enough to sleep later because of the 3 hour time difference. Happy to be home.

So glad that all the travelling is over, I was not built physically or mentally to travel far especially on planes so it’s nice to know that it’s all over now!

We had to wait ages for our suitcases and then stand in the freezing cold waiting for the taxi. Didn’t get home on time to pick up the cat but we’ll get her tomorrow (which is actually better as she’ll have the whole day to settle in). I missed her so much and can’t wait to see her, my little bestie!

Yay! We’ve landed, and just got off the plane! Going to get my wheelchair then our bags. Then we’ll get the taxi and go home! It was a rush to get on the second flight but a wonderful lady came & helped us get the wheelchair & was able to get us there just in time! Thankful for her otherwise we would have to wait until today for the next flight (already did that this time last year and was not prepared to do it again, was such a fuss last time 🤣)

Glad to be done with the worst of the travelling and excited to get back to the house and hopefully pick up the cat later! Love & well wishes - Ana ❤️

In the airport getting ready to go home feeling all the feelings all at once 🤣 (sick, tired, happy, sad, anxious, etc) can’t wait to get home to my bed, car & cat! And watch all the TV I missed! Just waiting to finish checking our bags in then we can get my wheelchair and get moving

First flight is 1:30-2hours long and second one is 11-12 hours! Hate being on a plane for that long but once the first one is done and we get on the 2nd I can watch a bunch of films and fall asleep then before I know it we should be nearly home! ✈️🏠

It’s been a busy 2 weeks and a slightly different holiday than we’re used to but still had a great time! Grateful for the memories, time with family and friends and the opportunity to come to Brazil each year, it’s special ☀️💟

But most importantly I’m grateful to the beautiful people who are taking care of my sweet grandma & making sure she is as comfortable and as happy as she can be, thank you ❤️
