He slid his way around her, letting go of the staff as he did so. It wasn’t gentlemanly behavior to not let the lady have her fighting chance. 

“Now Nami - what a beautiful name for a beautiful girl - what’s a woman as lovely as yourself doing in Arlong’s crew?” He asked, taking a few steps back out of her reach. 

Sanji put his hands in his pockets, and started to pull out a cigarette. He was barely getting it out of his pocket when the end of a red staff smacked him across the stomach. The impact knocked the wind out of him, and he bent over at the waist with a groan. 

“That,” the woman smirked down at him. 

He grinned. What a woman. 

“I think I’m in love,” he wheezed. 

Only to have him also pick a fight with Absalom for eating the clear-clear fruit. Because Sanji wants to peep on women...

Then he realized he can peep on women just fine without clear-clear fruit. The lesson here really should have been that Sanji realized peeping on women is wrong and creepy. What the hell are Toei and Oda thinking putting something so blatantly pervy in something aimed at young men. Once again, Sanji could have been a positive role model for young men and he fumbles the ball.

Like think what an abused eight year old by his family for not having the powers he was supposed to have would want with the fruit that would give him those powers and also let him disappear to hide from said abusive family.

Sanji: This is my girlfriend, Nami, Nami's girlfriend Vivi, Vivi's boyfriend Luffy, Luffy's boyfriend Zoro, and our friend Usopp.

Person: Wait, Usopp doesn't get to date any of you?

Usopp: I wouldn't date these fools! I have a lovely wife waiting for me back home! Or traveling. But either way, Married Man!!!
