Power is still out! It seems to only be affecting my neighborhood.

I took T to his new summer camp this morning. On the way home, Mr texted me that the power went out at home. Uh oh.

I did my meal prep for dinners this week. Mostly making sauces, but also some chopped produce.

If you need to entertain your child for 5-30 minutes, may I recommend baking soda + food coloring + a bowl a vinegar + a medicine dropper?

We went to the neighboring town's 4th of July event, which was fun. T had a great time in the Kid Zone with bounce houses, (felt) axe throwing, giant tetris blocks, etc.

T and I spent two solid hours doing red-white-and-blue science. Vinegar + baking soda + food coloring, milk + food coloring + dish soap, water + oil + food coloring. Then some drawing and a word search and a geography scavenger hunt.

T is very patriotic, in the sense that he loves chanting "USA! USA!" and the American flag. He's said multiple times that the 4th of July is his favorite holiday.
