I took T to his new summer camp this morning. On the way home, Mr texted me that the power went out at home. Uh oh.

Luckily, I was able to reschedule my client meetings to tomorrow. I've now decamped to a coffee shop with frosty AC and wifi so that I can at least bang out some emails.

I did my meal prep for dinners this week. Mostly making sauces, but also some chopped produce.

Thanks again to Restaurant Dropout for absolutely killing it with menus every week!

We went to the neighboring town's 4th of July event, which was fun. T had a great time in the Kid Zone with bounce houses, (felt) axe throwing, giant tetris blocks, etc.

We only stayed for half the fireworks show because T was over it, which helped beat some of the traffic. We didn't get home until 10, but it's a Saturday AND T's favorite holiday, so whatever.

He did wake up at 6am, which is an hour earlier than normal. Luckily, he's old enough now to entertain himself while mom and dad keep snoozing.
