my sweet angel francis, the most beloved baby in all of chicago, was hospitalized yesterday and had to undergo emergency surgery after a severe intestinal blockage. this has been an incredibly physically, mentally, and financially exhausting experience and i have been incredibly overwhelmed. a lot of lovely friends have pitched in to help me cover vet costs and the work i had to take off of to sit in the er with him, and the relief it has provided me has been amazing.

i notoriously hate to ask for help, but if you can even spare a couple dollars to help offset these unexpected expenses, i would be so grateful. i still have quite a long way to go, as the surgery and post-operative care has been more intense and expensive than initially anticipated. my venmo is elevamy, and for paypal/etc you can message me privately to sort something out.
