The Adventures of Prince Achmed - Meet Dinarsade

Most people think that Walt Disney made the first feature length animated film with Snow White. Well it was actually Lotte Reiniger, a woman with paper, scissors, and a camera. With them she made the first known feature length animated film ever created: The Adventures of Prince Achmed.

I'm composing a score for it that Silbo Gomero (Hope Arthur and I) will be performing at Cinema Center on January 27th as part of their Sound and Shadow Series. Keep your ears open for more info. <3

You did't configure your camera correctly and waited patiently to catch a streetlight flicking on at dusk next to the MLK bridge in Fort Wayne, IN while trying to put a video together for the local arts community; not wanting to compose new music for the phenomenon, you just took something from an unfinished work you've been messing around with and slapped it on there. Woah, neat.
