Ireland Create History with Stunning 2-0 Series Win Over India
The Indian team is set to begin a five-match T20I series against England on July 1, but ahead of that challenge, Team India suffered a shocking 2-0 T20I series defeat against Ireland in Dublin. The series, led by captain Shreyas Iyer, was expected to serve as ideal preparation for the England tour. Instead, it exposed several weaknesses in the Indian side.

India's batters appeared to approach the games with an IPL-style mindset rather than adapting to the challenging conditions in Dublin. The aggressive approach resulted in early wickets, putting excessive pressure on the middle and lower order. Following the series, several critics claimed that India's batters are highly effective on flat pitches but continue to struggle whenever they encounter quality seam and swing bowling.
The selection committee has also come under scrutiny for not including Vaibhav Sooryavanshi in the playing XI despite his outstanding recent form. Many believe he could have strengthened India's batting lineup.
