so when he sees the cute sketch of melody taking a nap he cant help but smile at the paper. while he wants to fawn over it, he has an image to upkeep..!

chuckling to himself, he thanks you and keeps the drawing safe in his house

catches himself looking at it whenever his thoughts drift. you really did a good job sketching melody, so much so he often gazes at it

in a kingdom where art is abundant, it isnt unusual to have drawings of lord purin doing whichever activities he decided to do that day

and yet, your sketch of his lord with him under the tree fills him with such heartfelt emotions he could make a poem about it

he enjoys the little details you put in the drawing and now wants to doodle with you some time

just like with merold, he too is a very enthusiastic fan! though unlike merold, he seems to make his adoration much more clear

that is, doesnt hold back when praising (both his lord! and you abilities, of course..!) to the point of asking you in the spot for either another drawing or to just see the process of it

will be sharing his many colored inks and pens just to see more of it. ranging from simple ballpoint pens to those fancy fountain or glass pens

might end up being too pushy but worry not! you could scribble or messily/quickly make something just to satisfy him and hed be fine with it

he, who didnt even know kuromis appearance, now has more kuromi things than imagined. read: will have both the drawing and kuromis plushie he got in the story together, takes good care of both)

it might remind him of littles doodles he does in his diary, though yours is obviously better than the questionable squibbles he did mindlessly that were supposedly meant to be kuromi

is very soft with it, handles it with care and leaves it somewhere he sees constantly

might digitalize it into his tablet in case he ever loses or something ends up happening to the original despite how careful he is

willmesh

while unlike some of them, he cant exactly flaunt the drawing to others, he still cherishes it a lot (he will be showing it to cielo at the very least..!)

very gentle with the drawing! handling it as carefully as possible, not even folding the paper, he will put it in a special folder to be sure no creasing happens

might not be able to convey his emotions at the time of receiving the drawing but rest assured he will be doing something for you

that is, writing a letter that better expresses how happy he was for receiving the sketch

if you tease him by pretending to just show him and end up not giving him the drawing he will sulk

might end up owning up to it and admit (scream in your face) that indeed the drawing is well done and cute! now please have mercy on him..! (the drawing will be kept in somewhere safe!)

as someone who also draws, he is ecstatic to see your drawing, though have in mind that he will probably want to draw with you now

might end up talking about art techniques and other related stuff you can probably relate to when drawing

likes to keep your sketch somewhere close in his room for some sort of luck charm/inspiration to draw. despite the slight mess he makes sure to not dirty it by accident

also ends up trying out your style just for fun and gives you the piece he drew (in both his and an earnest attempt at your artstyle)

another one that is very inspired and in awe of your talent and wants to learn with you. is very enthusiastic about it too

if you do end up teaching him one or two things he bakes lots of things for you (bread with intricate details..! he also uses the good quality ingredients!)

will be working hard to get better at it, but is a bit embarassed to show you his progress..! or any drawings at all..!

regardless! will be coming to you from time to time for more tips and lessons, and with time gets more confident in his own skills (enough to even give you sketches! now you two can trade drawings!)

which may or may not trigger an onslaught of badtzmaru drawings if his subordinates see it..! though his reaction to yours specifically is a bit more, favored, so to speak

makes sure to give everyone a hanamaru (yours is definitely the biggest!) and after that incident he now has to slot some time in his agenda once a month to oversee everyones sketches

dont worry, his favoritism is subtle by having yours specifically in his room while the others are stored in his office

he seems nonchalant on the surface and his reaction may be underwhelming to you, but dont be fooled (none of them are nonchalant. they are all chalant) he genuinely likes it, and it shows in how his eyes soften and his smile widens just the slightest

thinks the drawing is very dynamic despite being a bit chaotic. when he hears you say you drew that after seeing pochacco himself messing around in the city he runs after his lord

ends up with him looking for pochacco in the hopes of stopping whatever chaos he was creating (he asks you to hold onto the drawing for a second, just so nothing happens to the paper before running for it)

in the end he takes the paper as a memento of what happened that day and looks fondly at it, despite all the havoc

gets very excited about the drawing and wants to show it to everyone in the kingdom

makes sure to show it to his lord first and foremost. after that, wants to place it somewhere people can see

one to praise your abilities quite a lot, even if you did something more simple for the sketch, he still has that starry eyed expression and keeps on showering you in praise

be sure to do the same when he inevitably feels like drawing after seeing the extent of your skills..! even if the resulting doodles are questionable....!

however, while the combination in the drawing is something unusual and not something he used before, it actually fits lord sam very much..! he still has a lot to learn, fashion-wise..!

there is a small change he gets stunned for a small second after receiving the sketch before a very happy squeal comes out of him

this one can definitely fawn over the drawing with no worries about his image! and goes a bit overboard with it too, but he cant help himself when his lord looks so cute in that sketch!

full marks to you! will be showing it to lily first before storing it (and the future sketches youll have to give him) safely somewhere in his bedroom

might annoy you more frequently but you can placate him by giving yet another sketch to him and he will be quiet for a little while before he comes back (he tends to look at them with this, somewhat nostalgic melacholy before going back to his usual self)

from things his lord mentioned to even activities he did whilst escaping the room pikero made for him, he dissects the piece of drawing with accuracy

will criticize the piece as though it is an assignment, but dont be fooled, despite how harsh he may seem with it, he really likes it

that being said, it is moreso if you ask him what he thinks, and he will take it very seriously (may also give constructive criticism if you want)

Do you recall those old, old fairytales from long ago? The ones that speak of beautiful princesses from faraway lands who wish with all their might for a true romance? But oh, how terribly unlucky! She can never ever find that romance because some mean, old wicked witch has ruined the fun! It is the exact kind of bright, shiny love that any young girl would want for her very own storybook (minus the nasty witch part, I’d hope!), and I am completely certain you know exactly what I speak of! Oh, yes! And the most important part of any fairytale, the grand moment when the princess’s brave knight comes in to save her from her scary predicament! Now she’s free and they spend their forever together, the ending is a perfect and lovely happily ever after! When you had first met Willmesh, you truly believed it was the magical opening page to your very own fairytale romance. You may not be a princess, but he was certainly your knight, and you were deeply in love with him! You seemed to be a perfect constellation of two, nothing could ever come between the two of you. He’d be devoted to you and his Lord for as long as the clock allowed time to tick. I am certain you whispered to yourself it didn’t matter what trials would come your way. Just as long as you were by his side, and that he loved you, what more could’ve you possibly wanted? It was your perfect sanctuary. 

By all means, you believed it to be a sight so beautiful that even the little angels up in the clouds would weep for it. It was completely ideal! Yet, you have come to learn with a very big, sad disappointment that things like this are far too good to be true. Your grand beliefs set you up for nothing but a bitter taste of regret! It’s terribly hard to recall the messy details of the quarrel, you really didn’t expect something so silly to ruin your sunny day! Moreso, you’d never expect that you’d be the receiver of such sharp and prickly words. There’s simply no way he could’ve looked at you and said “I don’t have any time for this,” that is just not like him at all! There has to be a giant muddle going on in places you can’t see. He doesn’t really feel that way about you, surely he doesn’t! That is just not how the pages turn in fairytales like these! To try and match this big, cruel world with your grand, starry-eyed ideals was a very noble thought, yet it simply cannot be executed. For no matter how much you tried to comfort yourself by building up silly little excuses for him, those excuses weren't real enough to chase away the heavy silence and the ache his words left behind in your room. You know exactly what your ears heard, and no amount of daydreaming could fix a broken heart. However... if we are being completely honest, you weren't the most gracious little angel about it either! What made the sting hurt even more was that he didn’t need a great big, heavy dictionary to say something so grand and crushing. Oftentimes, people take their sweet time and use up all the words in the world to say something that lasts forever. Perhaps he meant “I have no time” in the literal, ticking-clock sense as well. But wait! Please do not despair too much just yet! Fairytales have a clever way of hiding happiness in places you go to cry, you know? A lot of the time, the most important details are hidden away somewhere you’d never think to check! Thankfully, this time, those magical details weren't lurking like dust-bunnies underneath your bed, nor were they tucked behind some boring old household object. No, they were sitting right atop your vanity table!

Originally, you had sat yourself down on your little stool to fix your appearance after having cried for quite a long time. You cannot wallow in this gray sadness forever and ever, and it seems fate had the exact same idea! You didn’t exactly want to look in the glass and see how puffy your face was, that would just make your eyes feel prickly and start the tears all over again, you looked around for something else to focus on. And what else was there to spy? …Well, isn’t that odd. You don’t usually have sealed envelopes sitting around in your room, a good majority of people don’t. But you knew in your heart that this wasn’t some ordinary message delivered by a boring page.

You did hesitate on whether you should open it or not, because you had a very strong feeling exactly whose shaky hand this came from. But it is not pretty to be petty! Have hope! Maybe your wishful thinking wasn’t just a silly daydream after all! Sweep it off the table and open it quick! Right there inside, you would find a page filled with nothing but beautiful words. It would put even the finest, grandest storybooks in the whole kingdom to absolute shame... if anyone were to ask you, at least. How lovely it was that, even when he could not be by your side, he did what he could to gather the fallen stars of your fairytale romance! How pleasing it was that he took the time to write you a letter! The beautiful action itself spoke so much louder than any words he could have written upon the paper, and you would cherish that secret treasure forever and ever, until you truly reached your happily ever after. And how true it was, that a simple truth written down could sanctify even the most stubborn heart!

So by all means, let me amend the original statement! I believe this to be a true fairytale romance! A true knight seeks always to soothe a troubled heart. And your knight did right by you, dispelling the only evil witch who lived inside your thoughts so you could be free to live your own happily ever after! The pages did turn right in this fairytale after all, and I told you my fairytale logic would win! The world is full of people who use up all the words in the universe to say nothing at all, however, a single, sincere statement is always enough to save a troubled mind!
