nene's new name is neneo (ねねお) and hanako is ofc hanako-san (花子さん)

the title is cut off, but im sure it says jibaku shoujo hanako-san (地縛少女花子さん) which translates to "earth-bound girl hanako-san" (you can just about see the top of the 女 peeking out from above hanako's head!)

the kanji next to the summer demon reads 監修, "director" or "supervisor" (is it surveilling its work? awww)

u can definitely tell how much i change things during my rendering process.

then there's this initial sketch vs. the final sketch i did of that closet scene piece, i was going to have kris's eyes showing but decided against it. i figured there'd be a stronger emotional pull if i use other elements to show how tired/sad they were. i knew i could do better. pulled the heart thing too [i was projecting bc i worked on this after palying through this entire scene again on stream].

and this redraw i never finished dlkfmgkl; this was right before i shifted away from my smooth lineart [mostly] and carried on doing work with more textured and halftone brushes.

unfinished UTDR human kids wip. think i abandoned this one bc i shifted drastically to a more simpler approach to drawing them, which, i've honestly done a lot with a lot of characters to save time since i love drawing so frequently.

... and sketches i did when i started remembering how much i love my wife. and missed momo.
