Some cybertronian do have haloforms but holomater technology is rare now and the factories that produce it long since destroyed by the war, so the only mechs with a holoform, either have tactical or diplomatic reasons for having one, or had one before the war.

I thiiiink in his original appearance in the Super-God Masterforce anime he was an Autobot. I know Im basing him on his IDW version in which he was a neutral but I think it makes more sense for him to be an Autobot here cuz I really don’t want to bother with the Neutrals. Im already having trouble juggling two factions, adding a third seems unnecessarily complicated.

That’s not to say neutrals don’t exist, but they wouldn’t be on Cybertron I don’t think. They must have had to go really far away or hide really well to avoid the war. Like, Skyfire was a true neutral when they found him and he was immediately forced to join a faction. As far as I’m concerned, everyone is either an Autobot or a Decepticon, at least for now.
