I just had a vision of an au where some of the Eridians left their planet when the petrova line showed up as a last ditch effort to save their species and find a new home. Rockyβs ship crash lands on earth when heβs young (maybe around like 30 years old?), and 12 year old Ryland and Colt are the ones who find him.

Imagine stratt looking at grace sideways every time he seemingly just switches personalities.
Gods, imagine the angst of colt suddenly being thrust into a seemingly calm moment between stratt and grace and not understanding why he was there( stratt notices and even takes the route of calmly leading him to get sedated. He knows something is wrong here but stratt is obfuscating as best as she can) and bam. He loses connection with his brother for years and then suddenly, he's on a bed with tubes shoved into him and unable to move. Horrifying :)
I wonder if they would still switch and to colt it would just feel like blacking out. Would grace still have his memories if that was the case or would he be a constant amnesiac until his body wakes up?
It's going to be less about Stratt or anyone else noticing the switch (since they've been doing this since childhood, they're pretty good at matching the other's personality) and more about them trying not to fuck things up. I have four chapters planned where they switch during key events of each movie so you should ABSOLUTELY go watch The Fall Guy before I post it
Love the speculation, but you'll just have to wait and see how the Hail Mary thing plays out ;)
