Looking back at the flashback scene in the circus at the beginning of Episode 8, I realized that Bubble wasn't there.

So does that mean Bubble somehow manifested later without Caine's influence?

I'm near the end, and I've noticed a few things.

SPOILERS FOR ANYONE WHO HASN'T SEEN THE EPISODE

Does Bubble represent Caine's intrusive thoughts? And was he created from that glitching program that absorbed the blue program?

Is Bubble the main villain, and has he been trying to get Caine to snap and go insane? It would explain why he's been saying and doing things over the course of the show to drive Caine nuts.

Who is this 'Him' that Bubble says Caine will never be better than?

It's interesting how the rest of the circus members have gotten over their individual issues (Save for Jax), and they've done that through talking about their issues with each other and having each other's backs. Caine, meanwhile, only has Bubble. No wonder Caine's slowly losing it.
