At approximately 11:30, the russians once again struck Kharkiv with a drone. They killed a woman, and another six people were injured.

The russians also struck a farm in Rakitne. They killed two people, and six more were injured.

They do this because they can. All delegations, including the European and American ones that arrived to participate in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, are helping ensure that the russians can continue killing people in Ukraine.

Although things could be different.

1. Everyone has already discussed the strike on the oil terminal in St. Petersburg. Information about the damage will come later; preliminary reports suggest that the storage tanks themselves suffered less damage than the technological pipelines connecting them, and pipelines leading to the oil-loading terminal were likely hit. In other words, the fire may be extinguished quickly, but the facility's operations will be affected.

It is even interesting to see how the russians will explain the breakthrough of UAVs to St. Petersburg. Which NATO country will they accuse of assisting?

The psychological effect is enormous. It was encouraging that, unlike in moscow, there were virtually no cries of “what did we do to deserve this?!” Tomorrow we will summarize the public reaction.

2. An unquestionable military success was the strike on the corvette "Boykiy" in a dry dock in Kronstadt. By design, the base of any fleet is supposed to be a fortress. The base in St. Petersburg is a fortress within a fortress. In addition to ground-based air-defense elements, ships are expected to defend themselves. Moreover, they are supposed to protect not only themselves but also assigned facilities, including oil ports. There are sufficient personnel and technical resources there. The issue is readiness. Experience has shown that coastal defenses and shipboard watches were not prepared for self-defense.

I am more than certain that today every self-respecting navy in the world will be studying the footage of the strike on the russian corvette. This is the reality in which everyone suddenly finds themselves. Nine hundred and fifty kilometers in a straight line from the nearest launch point, through layered defenses.

A contradictory aspect: the corvette "Boykiy" repeatedly escorted russian tankers in the Baltic Sea and the English Channel. All the great naval powers were afraid to touch it. Now it has been reached by Ukrainian drones. The other side of this success is the question: why escalate tensions with the russian federation if Ukrainians are more or less managing on their own?

Because the russians are adapting and increasing their readiness. The objectives of the Leningrad Military District have not disappeared. Ukraine could reduce its potential many times over with adequate support. Apparently, Europeans would rather leave more of it intact for themselves so they can later demonstrate their own valor.

3. During the day, the list of facilities affected yesterday and today will grow.

The Progress plant in Michurinsk (Tambov region) was alarmed, but the actual extent of the damage remains unclear.

A clear positive development is the shutdown of the Zenzevatka pumping station (Volgograd region). Back in September 2025, I described a focused visit to this facility. It is all part of the effort to disrupt the flow of oil and petroleum products toward Novorossiysk and the refineries of Krasnodar Krai.

4. Crimea was not overlooked. For several consecutive days, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have been harvesting results in the area around the Saky airfield in Novofedorivka. The General Staff announced the destruction of a short-range radio navigation system (RSBN) 4N.

Another change in the environment around my artwork, which is somehow still holding on after russia’s latest massive terrorist attack on Kyiv. As the world keeps caring less and less, genocidal freaks are now openly threatening to destroy our capital with missiles. ____________

I was simply sitting in a "bomb shelter" which, isn't actually a bomb shelter. It's a cellar in my apartment building. It won't save anyone from direct hit. I'm going there because it's the nearest available option, the only one I can reach with two cats in the middle of the night on a short notice. It will cover us up from glass shards when the blast wave shatters our window, that's all.

So I was sitting there in this basement at - what was it, 2AM, 3 AM? Something like that. I didn't come down there, putting huge stress on my cats, for the vibes. I did it because russians used to attack my city the following arsenal:

The district targeted, among others, was my own. Thankfully, I was fairly away from the epicenter - that would be a shopping mall I buy groceries in, a farmer markets I buy meat or spices sometimes at. Because remember? My "bomb shelter" is a residential building's basement that will only protect from shards/blast wave, not an actual hit. russians already destroyed a building like mine on a nearby street, with very few survivors. So yeah, thankfully I wasn't close enough to be impacted, but I was close enough to hear. This is why I posted "fucking russians", йобана русня, because we're only in this because of their imperial ambitions, their resentment that some people live better - lesser people at that. See how Lyonia here calls as a more provincial Nazis? He would know, coming from metropoly and all. In their opinion, it's fine to be a Nazi, but it's a sin to be provincial (especially if you're provincial and do not submit to metropoly; that is what makes one a Nazi, in their eyes, where a Nazi is not, you know, the actual national socialist, antisemitsic, xenophobic, racist, fascist ideology and state structure. Because again, that's what russia is, and that's fine for them. No, what makes you a Nazi is that you don't want to dissolve in russian people or be quietly eradicated by them.

here's my cats:

They're a good troopers, sitting quietly in their respective carriers - for the first hour or so. They can't stand being enclosed for long, meowing excessively, being anxious. Especially when an explosion hits somewhere nearby. And the worst is when I leave them in order to try and caught internet connection to know what's going on outside.

Again, I personally wasn't close to the hits. However, a lot of people on our street, in my building in particular, got their windows shattered from the blast wave. I feel very lucky that we managed to get to the basement, because that's how my flat looked like that morning.

i feel very lucky because for me, it's the worst of it. However, at least 3 people died; more than 80 were wounded, including children. Most likely, it's not the final body count. That's how these things go. And that's only my city, which wasn't the only one under attack, and the attacks didn't start or stop that night.

They would talk about how the US still has people hanging black men (this is a long running platitude in the SU) and Russia never did that.

Funnily enough, Russia also appeals to the white supremacists with the idea Russia is some last bastion of non-woke civil rights which don't hate white people. Truth is, Russia as a country and the ruling population, hate western europeans and western european cultures. They see them as weak and vulnerable. Not, "real" cultures, at all. Any religion that isn't Russian Orthodox is just barely allowed to exist.
