of all the crazy wacky new dragons we saw, aurora was my favorite! she's pretty simple in comparison to the wildwings (she's an ice-sky hybrid) but i liked seeing a singer/celebrity dragon in the wof world :) shes described as "rose pink with glittering gold scales along her snout", "silvery icewing spikes around her head", and "ice blue eyes" so here's my lil interpretation

i've always liked qibli's inner conflict about how others were "special" and how he felt that he couldn't compare

in a Q/A with Tui, she stated that blood moons affect a nightwing's powers, allowing seers to see terrible events/disasters clearly and allowing mind readers to project their thoughts onto any dragon (not just other mind readers)

i thought this was a really cool detail, and i'm hoping that it's used in the books somewhere
