were you expecting kludd to not go with soren because he’s joining the pure ones?
honestly I kind of saw that coming, looking at how Kludd had been completely brainwashed by the pure ones. absolute mf attitude tho, that owl was MEAN. but I admit it was pretty sad when he fell in the forest fire, and the best part is that he survived! this is why I'd love to get a second movie, but I fear it wouldn't be as good as this one!
Just a parallel between two of my favorite movies that I couldn’t help but compare.
Also the second picture of Kludd was done by FurioustheOw|Boy on DeviantArt
The last picture of Kludd was done by @senecar0cks !
First picture of Kludd is unknown!
do you blame kludd for turning away from soren beacuse nyra asked him if he was his brother? or not?
A little, but at that point i wasn't surprized, i mean, when they falled of the tree and got attacked by a badger, Kludd hid himself and just watched as Soren screams for his help, Soren almost died, so i think it was expected he would deny beeing his brother if it would mean getting rid of Soren.
Besides, he's just a angry emotionaly unstable teenager, of course he would deny knowing anyone who would get him into trouble or else he would end up going to do the same task as soren and Gylfie, or worse, Soren would be trained with the other soldiers and outshine Kludd there too (wich would be incredibly funny to watch 🤣)
do you think eglantine told soren’s parents what happened to kludd which is the reason why they didn’t mention him in the ending?
I thing Eglatine didn't told because there was no need, everybody in the great tree of ga'hoole were talking about what happened to Kludd and about how Soren became a war hero after fighting Kludd and Metal Beak.
Soren also mentioned that Kludd was never seen again, his body was never found either, so they know he might still be alive and probably fear it.
Besides, it kinda gives the impression that they cared more about Soren and Eglatine than they cared Kludd, wich is part of Kludd's motivation for becoming a villain.
it's a funny to think that it wasn't Kludd's impression and thet they really cared less about him. They older sibling who feels like the middle child.

Very first post on tumblr raaahh o7 my take on Kludd and Soren from Guardians of Ga'hoole!! :DD these are both fairly old at this point, but i'm still so proud ;;w ;;
canon soren and kludd dynamic
is kludd your least favorite character in guardians of ga'hoole?
No he's fine. Effective villain, good presence, the Book 3 twist was awesome and his death in Book 6 was a nice subversion of usual tropes
If you want my hot take, I like his movie backstory better. I just generally don't like the "Born Evil" trope and think that the story of an angry teenager getting swept up into a violent extremist movement with promises of acceptance and power is... more pertinent, nowadays.
I also just generally think it's funny that he was only the main villain of books 3-6 in a 15+ book series. Nyra had a longer run than he did, you go girl!
I think my actual least favorite Ga'hoole character is Shadyk from Book 11.
