Enrollment for 2018 Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) starts on November 1 and ends on December 15. The current administration has cut the funds to announce when people can enroll. Please reblog and #Resist

they have also scheduled some 12-hour “maintenance sessions” to occur on sundays during the enrollment period so be aware of those as well.

Also there’s one scheduled for the first night so be aware of that. They’re basically doing everything in their power to make it as difficult as possible so young and healthy people don’t bother signing up in an effort to kill the program that way. Please don’t let that happen spread this around and sign up.

This open enrollment period is for people who need to buy their own insurance. Check out the DHS website to see the income limits, but please note that they count gross income.

WELL DAMN . 

This is the thing. ALL of the Black women who raised me were& are strong, defiant, unbelievably resilient, they are the backbone of my existence. BUT, it’s because they’ve had be this way. The choice to take a break, relax, cut themselves some slack was never given. They’ve had to fill in the gaps for all the men who didn’t pull their weight and it’s sad. Alice Walker and Zora Neale Hurston said “ Black women are the mule of the world” and as disturbing as it sounds, it’s true. Black women carry so much weight and responsibility and are often overlooked and under appreciated.

There is no unskilled labor, only undervalued skills.
