One of them is a war criminal (but thinks he's totally chill), the other is psychosexually obsessed and jealous of said war criminal (war criminal thinks he's the best guy around because war criminal thinks everyone's the best guy around), and then there's the guy who assassinated this world's Oppenheimer and is here moreso to pick up guys than enforce the terrorist agenda.

compared to Chihiro's memory of what happened:

When they first met, Hakuri said what he needed in his life was a samurai (someone brave, strong, and capable) and specifically identified Chihiro as that samurai.

When Chihiro thinks back on that moment, "that's you!!!" is missing. This could be a matter of translation (I'm not the person to ask) but I like to think it's done on purpose. Chihiro doesn't consider himself the samurai that Hakuri needs, so he omits that part from his recollection.

He'll barge in complaining about something, Big Boss will say something justifying it and then in a voice of awe and enlightenment Kaz will transform Boss' words into some profound scripture.

Kaz: Boss! The men are complaining about the gender neutral bathrooms! The men say they can't use the urinals when the women are around!

Big Boss: On the battlefield they don't get the luxury of choosing where they pee.
