Copley House (also known as the Forest House with Tower),
A breathtaking masterpiece of organic modernism designed and hand-built by architect and artist Nancy Copley.
Located on a 50-acre forested plot in Accord, New York (at the foothills of the Catskills), this geometric residence is famous for being a 37-year-long labor of love.
Nancy Copley purchased the site and conceived the design in 1972, spending decades personally physically executing its construction.

By the 1800s, most of European nobility was enchanted by carved stone animals produced by Fabergé. These little creatures were inspired by Japanese netsuke. In Japanese culture, bats often represent good luck, which is perhaps the inspiration for this little citrine bat produced around 1900.

PSA: Don't assume that "angora" on a label refers to angora goat. Angora goats produce mohair. Angora means angora rabbit wool, with likelihood of animal suffering [x]. While often considered a luxury fibre angora can turn up in cheap clothing too.
