Here are two rough drawings of how I’m imagining Yami and Yugi in what I’m writing  

And the summary is that Yugi is a hundreds of years old being that works for a worldwide organisation designed to stop creatures of fiction and myth from destroying the world. When on a mission to find a reason for increased abductions Yugi ends up meeting someone who makes him question everything he thinks he knows about his species and a world threat to stop.
