like in chapter 1, there's the part where she acts kind of insensitive to susie about her attacking people and lectures her a bit, like clearly not understanding why susie is acting this way at all. and afterwards when susie runs off she's like "was i too hard on her?" and i think we see a similar thing in chapter 4 with susie's attempts at healing. ralsei just kind of pushes her aside multiple times, and again she is definitely not doing that with any malice. she just like. isn't thinking about susie's feelings!

there's also the scene after the spamton fight, where ralsei doesnt really empathize with kris's distress and kind of tells kris not to worry about it. this is another one that i've seen people react to by calling ralsei "secretly cruel" or taking it as evidence she doesn't actually care about kris, etc. but she definitely does. she genuinely is trying to help here, but the thing she says just does not land. but from her perspective, this is the type of thing that would comfort her, so why wouldn't it work for kris?

at the end of chapter 3, tenna is talking about his fears of being obsolete and ralsei attempts to comfort him. unlike the previous ones i don't think anyone would read this as her being intentionally cruel. she's obviously trying here, and is just not capable of understanding what would actually be comforting for tenna to hear in this moment. and to a lesser extent this continues through the rest of chapter 4, with ralsei hiding parts of the prophecy from susie and susie getting extremely frustrated.

>Kris progressing in the game leads them to stupid fucking Eram and seemingly just like a representation of their terrible childhood trauma and all the ominous shit happening with the bunker

>And Eram either Has the shadow mantle for some reason or IS the shadow mantle, Despite the fact that this is a fucking Video Game, and we Know that Seam HAD the shadow mantle in the REAL WORLD in chapter 2

Ahem- this is probably one of the best puppets so far, I'm so SO happy with how they turned out!!! And animating with Kris is so much fun!!

Hardest part was figuring out the chest plate. They have a wonky sword but it's cool to swing it around and it serves its purpose... :)

They're also convinced this is some Darkworld and are searching for the fountain now...

Not a permanent fix, but its a start
