There’s no reward in being right all the time.

I feel like I messed up by not thinking about quality over quantity when it comes to friends. I have many. Soo many, but no deep bonds with any. Can’t think of a best friend, and if I did have one them I’m a pretty shitty one for not keeping up lol. Just feels bad when you’re there for a friend and they don’t seem to value it? That they’d prefer others. And hey sorry if you did I didn’t know cos you didn’t say anything I’m just picking up what you’re visibly and audibly throwing down. Having a shitty birthday? Welcome to the club we’ve all been there. Girlfriend dumped you? I’m sorry my dude, let’s hang back and have some fun. You want someone to listen and comfort you? Yeah? Oh. Not me though. Ok. I get it.  I think the thing that sucks the most is when you get stood up. That’s when not feeling valued really starts to heat up. No response or acknowledgement. You’re a really good friend y’know. Thanks for letting me know so I can get my shift covered and lose money to show how much of a fucking great friend you are. The best! All of you! Every. Single. One. Thank you for showing me what you think my worth is to you.  I just needed to air this out and clearly it’s not all of my friends. I have some damn good ones, but I’m not going to bang up their day by bitching.
