People rarely eat the same food at 22 that they eat at 45, I don't know why people act like you have to pick one sex position/power dynamic at 18 and never deviate from it forever.

A lot of people use sex as an outlet for things going on in their work/personal lives, so if they have a job where they have to be in charge of a ton of people, they like having someone else in charge in bed, so subbing is just a way for them to find a work/life balance based on their current situation, not like, a permanent character trait.

There's no point in your life where you stop doing introspection and stop finding out new things about yourself. Your brain is not a static organ, it is highly adaptable, it is literally always changing the whole entire time you're alive.

There's an unfortunate tendency throughout human culture to try to classify humans into permanent categories, whether it's astrology people trying to classify everyone's identity according to their star sign or enneagram people (enneagram is like astrology for business majors) or those pre-2020 harry potter nerds who were obsessed with sorting every character from every movie and tv show into a specific hogwarts house.

We're constantly trying to constructing models with which to classify people and then acting like people are obligated to adhere to the oversimplistic parameters of those models.
